But wait...a couple challengers appears to the Testarossa! Can the Testarossa withstand the onslaught of the two opponents to dominate the late 80s-early 90s hip-hop curves of what we know as...radical?

Expensive, half the cylinders, better technology than an Atari 2600.

1985-Lamborghini-Countach-White-Front-Angle-Open-Doors-st.jpg

Awesome doors, no visibility, and Jeremy Clarkson showing us how to parallel park one (involving being 1/3 out of the car)

Who's the winner?

Now, it's obviously me, but I love the styling of the cars out of the 80s. TR being one example. That Porsche, I actually do like too. That Lambo...eh...not my cup of tea, but I'd take it. Just that whole...radical design differences of those cars, they became more squared off, which, for God knows what reason, I like. I just think they look sexy (when pulled off right.) By the way, the Porsche, IMO, wins.

Okay, time to end this sandboxfight and post the ultimate wedge from USA:

I still want it.

For those Superamerica lovers - have you seen one in person? You're impression would likely change quite a bit, they didn't really execute that one very successfully. I think I'd prefer the 550 Bar.

Mercedes calls it a "6.3 AMG," Ford called it a "5.0," and BMW called it a "Z3 2.3i." Doesn't mean any of that stuff was true.

Fair enough!

Yup. Never really liked the Vector. Wasn't it in GT2?

Do like the Porsche 959 though. Maybe not as much as Ferraris however.

Wait, the 2.3 wasn't a 2.3?

BMW also had a Z3 2.8 and didn't want to badge them 2.5 and 2.8 because they didn't think enough people would opt for the 2.8 over the 2.5 if the difference was so marginal. Thus, they named it the 2.3. One of the most ridiculous things in history, if not for the fact that Mercedes legitimized it with the 6.2-liter AMGs.

Heretic! Assemble the mob! Burn him!

The Vector I believe is basically a Diablo with a different body and snazzy interior (and an auto tranny too?)

No, it was all Vector but the engine was a small-block-Chevy with two turbos. Awesome 90s unusability.

And the TR, well, no sexy, but mean from certain angles, specially in the rear, you know OMFGSOWIDE, and it indeed sounds cool, I’ve seen one in person (incredible here in Mexico) and is a nice ride, and definitely, PURE 80s.

But the best Ferrari? NAH. Whoever said 365 GTB4 Daytona is the wisest man here.

I think this one is sexy!

You're thinking of the next Vector, the M12 (which is still an unfair statement, because it was more than that). The W8, which was pictured above, was completely engineered from the ground up by Vector, albeit with some borrowed parts (though none, if I'm not mistaken, from major automakers).

The Superamerica is definitely not as good-looking as the 550 Barchetta, but it's so much more usable (due to the 550's lack of a legitimate top) that I'd prefer ownership of a Superamerica. Plus, the 575 in general is a more fun car than the 550, though I've never driven the droptop versions.
