Rules:
  1. Use the Arcade Time Trial -mode to run the laps
  2. Submit all four times at once. After that you may update a certain time, just note "UPDATE" in the post.
  3. Save all your submitted laps using the "save best lap replay" -function.
  4. The times will be added together to get the final results.
  5. Top three** times from every car will need to be verified.
  6. Standard OLR rules apply.
  7. Have fun!
  8. The event will end when the update with private rooms arrives.

Standard clean OLR rules:
  • 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times
  • rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
  • no contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
  • if you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
  • no cheating of any kind
  • nothing that goes against the spirit of the game
  • anything we haven’t thought of that could be construed as cheating

Great idea Timo and I'll certainly have a go if I get time - I've already got a lap for the board qualifier I'm reasonably happy with, but I need to fit in my Torq runs and I only really have the next 2 nights free.

BTW... nice pic of the 430 scud on the 1st post!

Don't try and steel my thunder. I come last more than you lol. I'll go and buy the ones i haven't got tonight and give it a go. Reminds me that i haven't done my GTP qualifier lap yet. What do you mean by 'wheels vertically in line with the track'?

just drove the f2007 on suzuka...what a "no feel" this car has!!!
whas having fun with all the other ferrari ,but this is just bs...
no vibrations,no real force feed back,no feel of traction....
maybe its me,but this is not gran turismo IMO...bah!

Suppose someone needs to break the ice... the only one I enjoyed driving was the 512 - the F40 I can just about be bothered with, the 599 has comical levels of traction and will spin 'em up in 5th (not realistic I'm afraid, the F1 just isn't my cup of tea.

Only a few laps in each and none of them particularly special (spent most of the night in the Focus at London)....

512 - 2'21.246
F40 - 2'16.434
599 - 2'14.912
F1 - 1'34.222 (clearly I won't be challenging for Lewis' seat!)
 
We won't be driving the f430 at all as it may otherwise interfere with the ongoing GTP Qualifier. Sphinx has stated that the qualifier results will never be published only the Divisions for very acceptable reasons.

But make sure you make great effort for the Qualifier as it'll somehow influence to the results of this competition. See first post.

Damn, just realised I've not got the f1. Not bothered to do s class event yet. Will download a saved game. Do i have to delete my current save game file then replace it with the new one?

Your best bet is to create a new user and copy your save game (or the downloaded save) there.

First go:

512bb: 2'21.265
F40: 2'16.533 (didn't get a replay -- may need to rerun)
599: 2'14.937
F2007: 1'33.556 ( :crazy: don't like this car)

If you are 6th in the rankings, you are in luck, since you can save the replay from the top 100 list.
