Festive Smileys

I wanted to say this touch is appreciated, but I'm also curious if these smileys used now will remain on display in posts once the old ones come back or if they'll revert.

If I understand how they work, the smiley image files are named the same, Jordan just changes the folder (from "regular" to "Christmas" or something along those lines) they get pulled from. After the holidays he'll change it back.

Makes the most sense, I just wasn't sure if there may be some wizardry about them that enables them to stay where used.

TB is correct, all of the smilies are temporarily replaced with their hat-wearing counterparts for a few weeks. After Christmas, all of the hats will be gone.

So that's what happened to the hat I got for Christmas.

I always enjoy the Christmas lights that Jordan hangs out every year at Christmas. As for the hats - even the GTPlanet Logo wears one. Cool, eh?

As for the smiley who has its mouth taped - it doesn't even get a hat. I guess there is a lesson in that.
