Who won? xD just submitted my report there, good two weeks work so I'm glad it's over  I'll use this race as a drop score :)

Please guys post any incidents .
Just as below
Incident between
Driver ? And Driver ?
Lap ? Turn or sector ?
And that's it , no blame
Just post and we will review as fairly as possible.

I want to thank you all for the warm welcome you have given me so far through guidance, tips and setup suggestions but yesterday I realized that i was nowhere near ready to be a part of those races.

Being slow (or slower) is one thing but yesterday I understood I represented somehow a danger for you guys. My
incident with Karl at the end of the first lap is the perfect illustration of that. My driving with the controller is not as clean as should be and it makes it less predictible for you guys.

As Flanked and Agro were about to lap me, I prefered going out of the track limit and let them go by rather than being a "moving chicane" and risk dammaging them. I could not bear that responsability. I ended up letting almost everybody go by: I was scared.

if you let me, i'd like to continue to be a part of the club and practise with you but i will not participate in the races. I could take the M4 safety car and lead the pack for the first lap... or first four laps like yesterday... :-)

I'll send you a setup to help if you want. Don't quit, it's a hard thing at first but you'll get better.

Also

Lap 22
Turn 1
Crash vic-karsten

My view:
Fighting with worn out tires a needless battle just before he needed to pit for tires. Didn't lift off after going wide, collided with driver in second position and ended his race causing heavy damages.

Last 2 laps:
Vic-karsten
Changing racing line multiple times on straight to cut draft, one dangerous move at hairpin.

This counts as my race review too. My race ended there again.

After 1 disconnectio while fighting for 4th-5th in R1, losing 3rd to crazy rain in R2 and losing sure 2nd in R3 i'm starting to feel fed up now.

Yes it is very very difficult with a controller, you ideally need a wheel, it make life a lot easier.
You are welcome to join any practices we run, and hope that you can also race when you can, but as always it is practice that is the key.

No incidents of me apart from getting rear ended on the 1st pace lap which was restarted due to that .My race was rubbish , poor qualify position , well off the pase due to little testing after ps3 changeover , for some reason my car was a complete dog .

Well I must say that I enjoyed the race, I was hoping to have a better qual position, but I was surprised that the top 9 was sub 36. I did some practice the day prior and was able to set a 35.810. Who had put me in 7th. But I think that it makes not so lot of difference on the overall length as now I was 11th just behind Vic. I thought that I calculated a good strategy. But I had more tire wear as expected due to some battles. I calculated on 14 laps, that was just too much. I just did not understand what happened to Logic, seeing him behind me is not normal. During the race I was able to catch up and had some good battles with Vic, Karsten and Karl. But the one with Karsten was really great; we stayed 4-5 laps with taking over each other

I think we had once a very light contact, but without any consequences and is part of the race.

At my 3rd pit, that I thought would been the last one, I miscalculated and had 4 L short on fuel. I could have finished 7th or 8th but as I was running short on fuel, I needed to refuel for the last lap, what a shame.:boggled: But even without that, I was not sure that I would be able to keep Vic and Karsten behind me as my FL tire was at 3 and still two laps to go.

I’m glad with my race and I enjoyed it a lot as usual. A better end position would have better of course;)

Congratulations to the podium:tup:

I’m looking out for next one….and I really hope no rain:gtpflag:

I left you through for i had to make an EXTRA long stint after the crash with vic to try and recover a bit of the race, so i was on hard tires and wished you to get through and offer me some draft... Each time i left you through your would pass and than make a mistake lol

I swear i had no intention to fight :D

And, yeah after these 3 races i doubt i'll waste much time training, expecially since it's going to go to waste with rain...

At least i managed to give @Pubs16 a setup that would have brought him to podium if it wasn't for fuel and me in 2nd place.

Guys, i feel that had my plan come together i may have won the race, of course though, it didnt and and i only got 1 more point than dear seven, who spent 80 minutes making a pitstop.

I knew in training that the track didnt suit me and that pushing the tyres only lasted around 7 laps before the times dropped right off.

Also i knew the fast guys in training were able to do times in the 34s, whereas my very best ever lap was mid 36.

So my plan was to set the car up really very soft at the front and no downforce, with RS tyres i could run consistant 38s with that, and driving smoothly and gently, could run 18 lap stints so a 2 stopper was my plan, on the way slowing up the quick guys as they pitted and had to get past me, at worst i thought i would be in the top 6 and i was happy.
I would not have any battles with anyone and would be calm and serene and wait until the last stint before my plan blossomed.

I spent hours training, running round 18 lap stints, working a driving style that hurt the rears and not the fronts, i was ready.

Then my teamate Kossu suffered lag on the first race start, and i know he has just moved apartment and was a bit worried for him, i knew i would qualify well down but that was no issue on a 90 minute race.

When we restarted Kossu had not rejoined on the formation lap, but was wondering if he had on the race start, but being so far back, the list of drivers only went up to 7th on my display so i wasnt sure he was in, but i could see several red, pinky coloured cars ahead during the pace lap and hoped he would be there.

As the race got underway, i was looking for kossu after turn 1 if i could see him in turn 2 ahead, i ran wide and lost 8 seconds, bad start, but no damage , keep calm.

As we got into lap 10 everyone was pitting, and my tyres were still 7 so all good.
As i had dropped more time than i hoped as i had ran wide, and of the front runners stopping Flank came out just ahead of me, and i thought that there was still a chance of it working out for a good finish position.

On around lap 14 with front tyres down to 6, going through the complex, with no intention of holding them up, i had 2nd 3rd 4th closing behind me, and sadly Agro who was leading the bunch got a bit sideways and just tapped me and we just both slid down the camber into the wall, a read disaster for us both, but no bad intentions from either, we bumped the wall and both had damage.
This caused me to pit early and really from then on it was all downhill, as i knew the fuel and tyres could not make 2 stops from lap 14 onwards, so i was mentally working out a way around the issue, and just really couldnt get myself back in the game. But i kept on as you never know, but made a couple more sill unforced errors, and then 3/4 the way through the race i made a huge huge boo boo, i have no words to apologise for it.
I was being lapped by the leaders at this late stage and was happy to let them through, as Agro closed in i pulled to the right exiting turn 4 and slowed to let him through, he seemed to be quite far ahead as we came toward the right hairpin into the complex, and i guess the only reason i missed my braking point is, i rely on rythm a lot, after so many laps you just get that rythm of brake, turn accelerate, but i think my rythm was broken as i had slowed and moved for agro to go through, so when i came to my braking point, i was too late, and just locked up, trying to avoid the turning in agro, and i just went into his door Tbone style, and both damaged.
I was so upset, what an idiot, being lapped and i do that to one of the leaders, my my, how to explain that, then i was thinking he may think i did it in retaliation for the incident earlier in the race, but i would never ever do that, so the last 15 minutes i was lapped by almost everyone, driving round feeling very sad that i made such a stupid error.

But anyway, i kept on and finished 11th, which was last place, well, it was as seven spent 95% of the race drinking tea in the pit lane.

SO sorry to agro, sorry sorry sorry.
Hope Kossu gives it another go, and hope we all get a full grid next week.

I was having a brew indeed;)

Can you guys take a look at the incident in:

Lap 44, Turn 1, between me and AGRO around 17:08 minutes to go;

I know it was not intentional by any of the drivers involved, however there was damaged involved and it influenced both of us for the fight of the 2nd spot, we had to pit because of it.

So ill quit swerving I think read the rules you are allowed to go out ove racing line once how was it dangerous there you and me we just past log I'm not going to be driving with rules that are never ever in forced

Sorry can you see karsten had damage the last 4 laps as he's trying two beat me against all odds lol lol.

FGTA GT300 Endurance, Round 3
Fuji Speedway F

Qualifying:
I couldn't manage to reproduce my fastest laps from practice, and decided to pit for the last lap available but unfortunately spun in my hurry out so wasn't able to squeeze a new lap in with fresh tyres. 90mins is plenty to make the spots I need so am never too fussed as long as I'm inside the top 10.

8th

Race:
After some lag issues delaying a green start and a weird cancel to the first green flag, (I feel so bad for Kossu, im sorry you had troubles man, I feel bad for anybody who can't race due to connection issues) and kossu departing I started from 7th behind fellow Fronzini driver @azidahaka.
@filipino1234 and @Gavin Vickers were right behind from the go and I planned to not worry too much and try and hang onto the back of Karsten so we could fire up towards the front pack and see where we could go, eventually pulling away from me after I few laps I stuck my head down to try and at least stay within touch and get some pressure off from fili.
I had a fairly lonely run from then on through my stints, aiming to keep up as much pace as I could.. My tyres holding on okay through to 5s, had @Pedro Martins in sight ahead of me after Karsten moved up through the front runners, I decided to try overlap and wait an extra lap after majority and eol had pitted so I could continue to try gain in their end stints with my consistent paced wear.
On my 3rd stop I had made a silly mistake to take on too light of a fuel load to try and lighten the car, but was less than my tyre life unfortunately, cursing myself I decided to push very hard to at least try and maximise the short stint and just flogged the thing. Sure enough fuel ran to the light and pitted, now out of sync with everyone, I decided to take more fuel in my 4th stop with around 35mins to go and try make this stint last longer than my first to try and get my stints back in sync.
Reaching 1st place through the front runners last pits I pushed on nearing the remaining 15mins, knowing if I pitted after that point I could have good tyre life to the end and at least have a crack at the top 3 (to my team mate's bad luck he was not within that group for a team attack on the lead :( ). I also had seen Agro put an extr time not long after a scheduled stop so he had fallen lower than he probably would've been sitting at that point.
I put after 15mins for the 5th and final time, in my hurry to try and latch on to the podium I had chosen less fuel AGAIN. With @BAZZER and @SkengD flying past as I'm rolling down pit lane, knowing immediately what I had done with the fuel I thought it'd be very close with the remaining time. I rejoin 3rd quite a ways ahead of eol and agro, I push hard to just go for it and see if I can gain on skengd's ageing tyres (thought it'd be impossible with his reputation) but I was drawing in, getting tothe remaining 5mins I realised I wasn't going to make it.
With about 3 laps to go I considered pitting, but I'd lose out to eol and Agro... So chose not to and to try conserve lol, UNFORTUNATELY in the last 2 corners she died and crawled at 80km/h I did up the hill around the final turn and eol and agro come flying through on my exit.
Realising now I should've gone easier after ruining another fuel stint, could've remained in 3rd maintaining a gap slightly to 4th and 5th, however, lots of ifs buts and maybes in Motorsport and I can at least say I went for it :P.

5th

Quite disappointed, mainly in a mistake I had already made half way through so could've learnt sooner but lesson definitely learnt now and better to be safe with fuel than to be sorry :P. 5th is still nothing to sneeze at and its my highest finish within this series so far!
Congratulations to @BAZZER! Almost thinking you weren't gonna make quali and you make Pole and then the win, well done dude you were fast. Also to @SkengD and @Pedro Martins i handed that to you man ;).
Was a great race nonetheless and I can take away my performance at least and I feel hugely encouraged that Im improving each round, getting a nice feel for this Lexus finally :). Off to Apricot Hill now, a track that I quite like, but with weather back and I should find a wet setup this time lol.

Qualifying
With not much practice time during the week my 5th place on the grid surprised me a bit after seeing drivers put 1:34's and low 35's in before qualifying I defiantly thought I would be towards the back.

Race
Well after qualifying in 5th I thought I could get a cheeky podium if I played my cards right, so we eventually get off after a long delay with connections and so on, I get good toe down the main straight to the first corner, missed my braking point and very cold tyres I was in the gravel and in last place after the 1st corner, I was gutted thinking my race was ruined on the first corner, so from then on my race strategy had to change, the first lap I passed logic due to a mistake and then I came up to cedbel near the end of first lap and he made contact which caused damage, but drive able to my first pit.
The race from then on was quite lonely with a few battles but I knew if I drove smoothly and sensible I could miss an extra pit stop, with a 4 stopper for the race I managed to hold to my position in 6th maybe jumping a couple who had a 5 stop race. So overall very happy to finish 6th from the start I had.
Well done to the top 3 👍
Well done team mate @Pedro Martins
