PB- I am guessing 45 laps is good for you then m8, if your hand is hurting you must be taking a death grip on that wheel m8.
RF- Vote counted, im expecting a lot from you on sunday after the practice run :)
KS- 5 times! sorry dude, ill take your vote as 45 lapper m8. You get like 2 seconds rest on the back straight.

45 laps- 2
50 laps -2

i had a practice the other day on TM and could only muster up laps around the 1:03 mark, gonna fiddle with my setup and have another stab at it and see if i can shave a couple seconds.

Thats a good pace for the race so dont worry, it will be impossible for us to run 59's for 90% of the race with traffic and such. I think the general lap times will be 1.02s. Do you have an opinion on whether it should stay at 45 laps or go to 50?
Oh and dont run your car too low on this track m8.

I agree with all that up there^^^..i did 2 59's,but they are mad.I just did a 45 lap practice,1 stop ,1:03-5's till the end.My spins were from the jump after turn 1 and the last corner esses, only locked the rears once in the last 23laps which is good, always learning, remembering advice....i will sook though,me hand hurt for the last 10,cant we shorten it to 10 laps..haha

Nah, let's do 1000 laps so we can all die of muscle cramps and dehydration:lol: just kidding

But seriously I think it's fine at 45 I was just curious, that might leave some time for a few races after the main event, more fun with clean racers anyway

ok well to update everyone its staying at 45 laps,5 votes to 2. So pit strats still stand.
Looking forward to the race :) (and hearing the welsh national anthem for once!)

looking forward to sunday's race, i hope to do a bit better but i think this track will be hard work. i think for the first season 45 laps is enough (mabe more next season).:nervous:

I was running a mixed racing room last night, Electric and flood were there and I decided to run the FGT round TM. The lads in the room didnt know we were in the FGTC and they were chatting about how they were good in the FGT and they were complaining about each otheres aids etc. It was a total slaughter, there were FGT's flying everywhere and needless to say, me, flood and electric got a 1-2-3 finish by a huge margin :)

Thats too funny lol! I joined a room at Indy super speedway. With about 14 drivers in it they are pretty good at turning left and drafting. Came time for track vote and i voted Indy road. To make a long story short. In ten laps I put four cars lap down they were spinning behind me and runfast 1 race! :) peace out......

Haha runfast, its cruel but these people need to be educated on the skills required to drive the mighty FGT. Owned!

Well said m8. Have you raced Indy super speedway? Its pretty intense! 60 lap race w pit stop. Fgt cars are awesome at this track very close fast racing at 250 mph + in the draft! I love it. Peace out.....

I havent tried it RF but if you think it will be good ill be happy to give it a test and maybe put it in next season.

Practice is good, this is a very edgy car. We have been racing them for 7 weeks now and they still catch us out, often!

The field is getting between 59.xxx and 1.04.xxx. This is qualifying pace though, an educated guess at race pace would be an average of 1.05.xxx. This takes tyre wear and traffic into account. How are you getting on?

I've been practising on hard tires and was gettin 1:04. Knew it was off the pace, but that was a rough outta practise lap.......Not looked near this car since I completed GT FGT Championship lol As long as i'm not last

All the testing is maybe for the Toilette. I am sure I can´t make it in time because we have a Training-Camp going for our Basketball Club and therefore it´s maybe not possible for me to join.
If you save the Replay, I could be another Steward for this race :D

Noooooooooo!
That is not good KS, try and make it man! Pretend to twist your ankle or something :)
Even if you miss qualifying you can still start bro, maybe put in your hotlap with me right at the end of qualifying!!!

Team LOTUS/PIGBOY completed his pre race test with astounding sucsess. He carved his way around the 2.47 mile Trial Mountain circut in 49:16.024 with a best of 59.977.We can take roughly 30 seconds off that time as i did a controlled stop for photo's on lap 24,and a spin whilst juggling the camera and wheel.PIGBOY did have 1 slight "off" just before the first tunnel, fortunatly he followed the wall to the entrance to the tunnel and came out straight in 3rd so only lost 5 seconds there. The only pitstop came on lap 25,and with a shorter stint on the second set of medium frunt/soft rear(for balance)he went for it and crossed the finishing line with a gigantic smile.
This does not mean i will be flying in the race.Im going to be carefull and thoughtfull.CYA's @Trial Mountain and good luck to all

Acctually i did 2 practice starts cost=20sec's....so race time shood be 48:30 or there abouts.Advice that helped was the leaning on the SRF,im tryin not to do that at all .

After the race i might do a bit of this...LOL.The FGT posse...

Like the story at the top PB, maybe you should apply to the new SKYTV team for the next season in F1 m8. Qualifying pole is going to be tough with all these 0.59's. We will see who can pull them off in only 2 flying laps though. Pressure is on under the new system!
Its kinda mean using our tuned FGT's in a public room but funny to hear all the other drivers scratching their heads as to what happened lol.
See you at the race bro, looking at about 10 competitors today as a couple cant make it so lots of points available even if I end up as a back marker :)

Practice room now open in my private lounge. This will evolve into the race room so join whenever you like people. Find me on community and join lounge, peace.

Im up,not missin todays race : )
Monster truck for a monster track, ride hieght is -1/8,seems OK unless im told otherwise.
i liked Ryan Newmans description when asked "what corner worries you" at Watkins Glen just now-he answered"The next corner"
