It wasnt even my chores lol. Its just that my moms clueless with a computer and i spent 30 minutes helping her:ouch: Oh how i wanted to race today especially getting 6:14 fast laps
 
6.14 was my fastest lap in the race skate, you could have been on with a shout of the win. Oh well you will get another chance this sunday in S2.
 
Well done brett.I had fun racing,I learnt alot too,races dont scare me as much.Some venue's i hated initially i now like,cape ring is one of them.Congrats to everybody who races and all the winners of races and fastest laps...haha

I could have taken part but there was a "higher" spirit against me xD

Hi Guys . Well done to everybody in last nights race... Brett congratulations for the race and trophy:)... Well I suppose I didn't do too bad :rolleyes:.. It was very gruelling .. I must have had the wrong set up because looking at pagey on the re-run there was places which I did cleanly and faster but was afraid to go too fast as the back almost always steps out on the corners. I will have to make sure about the set up which I have .Then perhaps I shall go faster (here's hoping) .. so see you all next season:cheers:
 
I watched the replay of sandman and ellis' pit disaster, it did make me laugh haha its at the end of lap 9 if anyone wants to watch :)
It was a really good race for me, i really enjoyed it. I managed to hold the lead untill the end of the GP track, after that Rhy and me had a good battle yet again. One would build up a lead, then spin hand it to the other person, then he would spin and give it back!! I pitted on lap 3, and came out in 3rd 44 seconds behind the lead, i passed Sandman and went after Rhy, i got the gap down to 12 seconds (he was on very old tyres) and he pitted on lap 5. He came out about 75 seconds behind and from then on i just put pendulum on full blast and drove my socks off. A small mistake with the fueling meant i had to pit once more than i had intended, plus a few small excursions onto the grass but nothing major. Got to the last lap and had a comfortable gap, so i decided to really put the hammer down and managed a 6.07.9.
Awesome race and an awesome season with a sound bunch of guys, looking forward to the next one where we all start on an level playing field :)
And congrats to Rhy again
 
I'm 16 not 17 Bret :D and congrats on the championship 👍 was wonding what the first race of the season is? and if we are getting a weeks holiday ;)
 
Congratulations to Brett:tup: it's been great racing you guys. Sorry I had to leave but I was playing on a projector this time and the thing just went crazy right at the start of qualy. During the first lap my picture kept flashing in and out so I was crashing into everyone, sorry if I ruined anybodys race. Good luck to everyone next season, and I hope I can join in on occasion.
 
PB- Thank you bro. I am a big fan of cape ring too after being told by a lot of people it wouldnt work it turned out to be one of the top 3 races in S1.

KS- Gutted for you mate, I wonder where you would have finished amongst the madness of the green hell. No worries see you in S2!!!

Electric- I know what you mean, I just couldnt get rid of that twitchy back end (not my posterior) without putting so much toe on it killed the tyres. We all have a better idea about tuning now and can handle the car well. I expect some great battles in S2 :)

Pagey- Due to work I have been unable to watch the replay but am looking forward to it, especially ellis' 'pit incident' :) Despite my best efforts i just couldnt keep the car on the track which is a testamant to your pace. Starting from scratch with you, ronin, and nethereal on form is whats worrying but hey ho thats why I love the FGTC :)

Ellis- Thanks again, ill correct your age now. No, there is a race this weekend I am afraid mate. Hope you can make it ill publish which one in a minute as I cant remember.

Ronin- Thanks and sometimes the tech stuff lets us down. I was really looking forward to seeing you race pagey on the NB24hr so was dissapointed but cant be helped. I hope you can get a few races in mate as you would have definatley been one of the favourites. If things change let me know as spaces are getting valuable and if people dont turn up or leave races they will be booted out soon enough.

First track of S2 is Tokyo R246! 50 Laps.

Anyone interested in competing- I am thinking about starting a 2nd string FGTC with promotion and demotion at the end of the season. Register your interest even if the grid looks full up!

:D The last person who said that to me proceeded to slaughter most of the opposition in nearly every race he entered. Thanks tom ill put you down when the new OP is in place.
 
I can pretty much assure you that won't happen haha! Two 'divisions' is an awesome idea if you can get enough drivers on board 👍
 
I see a lot of people looking at the thread but think they are put off by the fact that the grid looks full all the time and they dont register interest. If you have any friends that race clean and you think they may like to race tell them to check it out.
 
Yep I definitely will, it sounds good fun. Will it differ at all from the main division?

EDIT: I was orignally put off by the full grid to be honest, but this is a great idea 👍
 
I should have sorted it earlier. Yes I was thinking 636 bhp and 600kg cars. Mostly the same tracks with shorter races. I would need someone to run the race and a couple of reliable stewards too. I could organise calender and use the same rules as FGTC.
 
Sounds good spec-wise. Shorter races would suit me on a sunday night, maybe half the length of your current races? I'd be happy to help out, after all you're doing us a favour by being our safety car driver ;)

Hows your connection for hosting, you would need to be very harsh when enforcing the rules and message me after the race with the results and after viewing the replay any penalties and also the personal best laps. It sounds a lot but quite easy once you get used to it. Think you got time for that?

As for green hell, I had to pee real bad so I made a extra stop at the end to go pee. Lol:( I made it back as car was leaving pits. Good long race! I had a headache after that one! Good racing with everyone this season. CLEAN:). Thanks y'all

RF- Hey buddy, thanks mate. Its been a pleasure, I always take a pee when racing I cant make it with the nerves and 3 gallons of coffee in my system :) Looking forward to season 2. If you know anyone who is up for FGT600 the new 2nd string series then tell them to post here!

Pagey- Tokyo is a little fluffy bunny of a track after what we went through on sunday bro :)
 
Indeed it is, doesnt help me though, im rubbish at that track, im gonna need to practise a lot ha

Oh and im putting my name forward to be a steward for season 2 :)

Im liking this fgt600 idea, awesome! Is it gunna be like a step down from the fgtc? Like for example top five from fgt600 promotes up to fgtc, and bottom five from fgtc relegates to fgt600?
I can make a new display pic for this to seperate it from fgtc brett if you like?
