I am 1 of a kind.What about the radiation in japan.It cant get through internet lines can it.
That lap time last season was done with a huge slipstream,i can still remember it.
 
Haha, dont worry PB, you are quite safe in the land of OZ mate. Even radiation doesnt want to go there, too many nasty spiders :)
I havent been able to sort my tune out yet for Tokyo but will have a crack at the time set when I do. I got a 1.11.341 with a basic tune.
I am planning a decent start to season 2, hopefully a podium :)

Same here rhy, a podium would be good :)
But does tuning really make that much difference? Ive kept the same set up since Deep forest raceway i think, just a few tweaks of the top speed. Im scared to change it cus it seems to be working
 
It makes a big difference to me mate. I can find over a second a lap by fine tuning my car. It isnt just to make your car a little faster but it can save tyres and make the car more comfortable to drive for long periods. You dont need my advice though, not with your laptimes :)

Wow, I am the slowest out of you lot, except ellis as he hasnt done a lap yet. I had better get on with some practice later.
Flood and etid, amazing laps chaps. Might see you later for a bit of practice and some mixed racing/fun races.
Oh and start saving your dollars for the DLC in 3 weeks, I hope seattle and apricot hill are on there along with the Atom v8 :)

That would be good but I would rather it stayed standard if it meant we could all go racing on Seattle, what an amazing track with almost every type of corner you can think of! Rome original and Apricot hill are amazing in the FGT. I will end up being dissapointed but hope it includes some older of real world tracks.
 
Fastest lap ive managed is a 1.09.930

And i really want the caterham R500! that would be so sick
Or my beast of a car, a Vauxhall Corsa vegas 1.2 from 1996!! it goes like stink.....:D

Pagey- Nice lap, isnt ther any 1990's corsas on the game? I thought there was. Caterham is definatley under represented in the game.

Flood- Flying redbulls sounds erm....fun :)
 
Good work with the FGT600 schedule mate, I honestly don't think i've raced Grand Valley East since the first career races :P it flows really nicely for such a short circuit.
 
Yes I had a 5 lapper round there and thought it felt good, should be better with a few more cars on track too :) I hope to get at least 10 racers before the first race.
 
Yeah that's a plan, 10 or more is a reasonable grid. Got over a week, should be fine for numbers by then :) and oh, I did finally get my tuning sorted, it handles just fine now. Steering is responsive 👍
 
TomMcD-Nice one mate, tuning is very important as you move track to track and is all part of the fun.

Premium FGT.Last time we raced here i kept making the tyres go red around the long right hander and it killed them,second stint i took care of my tyres and it made a huge difference.its all about rythem and melody,rythem and melody.....sorry thats a song.
 
Tokyo was last Season my Entry race ;)
Well back than I raced without any Aids => My Times now wil be better ;)
But I´ll have to test, maybe today in the evening.
But the New Time-Trial prepared me a bit for the Track ;)
