I just seen the FIA GT1 on speed channel for the first time and WOW! The 2012 cars would be the ultimate dlc! I am probably repeating what is a common wish and but these cars are must.

Nother day, nother wishlist thread. Please put this where it belongs.

I tried to move it but the destination you provided is not an option in the move to list.

That's because the link provided isn't for threads, as a wishlist doesn't require one. Just put the car on the list, then post a link here so people can vote.

EDIT- 2 sec. search reveals that someone beat you to it long ago. Mods, please close this thread.

You are at least one year too late mate.

There are no 2012 GT1 cars. The series died at the end of last year because there were not enough cars left to compete. No spare cars or parts available you see.

They are mostly old cars that are not made anymore. GT3 is the new GT1.

Huh, their web site says they are alive and well. All I know is those cars are (were) fantastic! Be well

Well as long as people that insist on ramming you online are only allowed to use the Belgium Racing GT's, I don't see a problem. (Only people that watched the Paul Richard race last year will get that)

chopgolfer is right, fia gt was forced to change rules in order to include more cars and new entries, this happened few years ago and old gt1 such as maserati mc12 were adapted to the new rules, which have made them slower like gt2 cars. From now on, all the cars you will see running in this championship will never be as fast as the old GT1s such as Saleen S7R, MC12, DBR9 etc... forget these monsters just the same why you did with CLK GTR, F1, 911 GT1..

I think he did. He also wanted to add DTM as well, I think.

Yes I read that as well, It makes you wonder how many cars, does PD really have on their servers, that have not put in game yet.

As a few people have said already there is no GT1 in 2012 but this is incorrect. The series is still running in 2012 with 2 new tracks added to the series. I suggest you do your research next time before commenting. Here is the link to the website, if you scroll down it has the 2012 calender for both GT1 and GT3.

Both statements are only half correct.

  • The FIA GT1 World Championship still exists in 2012.
  • The GT1 World Championship will be run with cars under the GT3 regulations.
  • There is no series anymore running with GT1 regulation cars
  • The only difference between GT1 and GT3 Championship this year, is that in the GT3 series only one of the two drivers can have a gold status. (which basically means they are pro drivers with quite some experience).

I do agree that the current GT3 cars would make a great addition to the game. I posted that here...

Yeah, probably the best cars to be added to the game would be the GT1's or GT3's. They would make a good base level for other race cars we have to make them all competitive. We could use them as proper GT class cars for races @ La Sarthe under the LMP class :D

@snowGT yes I read the website and didn't put much detail into my post. I knew that they were running under the GT3 regs so that more they could have fields of up to 40 cars. I was just saying that effectively the series still does exist but under a new name.

I love the GT1 championship and also love the fact that the entire season could be found for viewing on they GT1 website or YouTube. Great racing with interesting drivers and cars. Its sad to see the near prototype GT cars go away but the GT3'ish rules structure is still pretty nice.

But any series that brings us this car, is alright in my book (Also, IMO this is the car the R-35 TC was modeled from).

You know the Nissan you posted is actually a GT3 car right?
