Lurking hard ... thinking about it .... on the fence, ><

Ok guys. I will open the room at 1:00 pm est and give 30 minutes to practice. Qualifying will start at 1:30 with LMP class going out first for 15 minutes. Then after the 15 minutes, the LMPs will finish lap they are on and pull down pit lane and pause in you pit stall. The GTE class will then head out for their 15 minutes. Once GTE is finished, I will start the race. Then the race will be 2 hours. So far, I have 3 LMPs and 1 GTE. If need be, I will race in GTE just give it 2 cars.

I have a couple friends that love to race gt. They are clean racers so if you want I can ask them if they want to race.

sure give me info as to cars and PSN. will they be regulars or just one-time.

Daman's guides are hilarious.

Qualifying starts in 15 minutes.

I'm not sure how long I can race, but I'll be there shortly.

I'll drop by and will race for as long as I can

race starting very shortly
now is the time to join if you're late!

Very loooonng race. Especially only two of us racing eachother. But it was fun. I was able to come back from being 2 laps down to finish 11 seconds behind 1st. Had to change a diaper around lap 40. I donno if the winner waited for me, but you didn't have to.

Would you guys be down to cut the races down to about an hour and move them back an hour? If not its ok, i missed today's race due to circumstances outside of my control but 10:30 is a bit early for me on the weekends. I was talking to seth today after the race and he brought up shortening the races too so i thought i'd post my support for the idea... If I were god and could mandate the length of races i would make them about 1:20 so that its long enough strategy and tyre management come in to play but not so long that I have to take a "p" break mid race. Then at the classic tracks at the end of the season, we could do a full 2:00 race worth double points or something... what does everyone think?
Last thing.... We seem to have had a lot of absences the first couple weeks, Whaddaya say to dropping 1 race fro the overall season score? Also, Im willing to donate a lvl 22 ticket and a 1000km ticket to the winners of the respective classes. Post back questions and comments... Also lilcat, Dont forget to send me that video so i can cap it overnight tonight or tomorrow! Thanks bros. have a good weekend!

I like Posi's idea. 80 minute races starting at 3PM EST(GMT-5). That is a pretty Euro friendly timeslot and it suits better the west coast US racers.

I actually agree. Unfortunately though, I cant go much later as I usually work saturday nights.

Posimosh, for some reason I cant attach the replay on this reply. I dont have a problem dropping lowest finish. I would like to know from everyone how long they want the races to be?

I will look through the replay tomorrow and figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. Since no GTs finished, this race will not count, but I will send the winner and runner up some gear for finishing the race. I will cut down the schedule some and basically treat this as a new championship. If everyone agrees. Nethereal will get suit and helmet and freshseth89 will get helmet.

If there is room, I'd like to sign up for this, as long as race day is Saturday and still 5:30pm GMT.

Any new blood is good for this series Biffy. I'm in favor of making the races at MOST about 55-75 laps. Depending on the track- 55 laps for longer tracks (Nurb), 75 for shorter (Rome). There's no reason to go on for 2 hours as most didn't even last 15 laps last race.

55 laps around Nurburgring (F1 track) at 1:50 per lap (average LMP time) would push to 2 hours- Actually about 101 minutes, barring pit stops. Considering pit stops in the mix that'd account for another 10-20 minutes of added time. Do we really need to run that many laps? How about the other track, Rome. With lap times around 1 minute for LMPs, 75 laps would be around an hour and a half with pit stops.
