TECHNICAL REGULATIONS
1.1. All entrants must first and foremost be an active member of GTPlanet.net. Those members must maintain an active presence on the website to be kept within the series.
1.1.1. This does not require activity within the series thread. Simply logging into the site or liking a more recent post will suffice.
1.2. Each GTPlanet member can register up to 2 cars and 4 AI drivers.
1.2.1. Members have the option to register one car in each class or both cars in GTB Class.
1.2.2. GTA Class requires one original driver and one real life driver. GTB Class requires both drivers to be fictional.
1.2.3. Cars can be numbered from 3-199. Number 1 is reserved for GTA Class champion, while number 2 is reserved for GTB Class champion.
1.2.4. Real life drivers must be currently active in competition.
1.3. GTPlanet members can mix and match AI drivers with other GTPlanet members (ex: Member A and Member B can share a car with one AI driver each.)
1.4. Different GTPlanet members can be on the same team (see Section 2).
1.5. Being banned from this site will result in the car(s) and driver(s) belonging to that member being pulled from the series for however long the ban lasts.
1.6. In the instance that a GTPlanet member registers 2 or more drivers, at least half of the AI drivers must match the member's gender identity.
2.1. Teams in this series can have up to 2 cars in GTA Class and 4 cars in GTB Class.
2.2. Teams cannot share a name with an existing racing team in real life. Be creative.
2.2.1. This rule does not apply to teams active in any VRR or FICA series as on June 20th, 2017.
2.3. Up to two GTPlanet members can be on the same team.
2.4. Teams in GTA Class must use the same car among teammates. Teams in GTB Class can use up to two different chassis.
3.1. Each entered car is limited to one car livery per season.
3.2. Drivers must have a different primary sponsors unless the sponsor is shared between teammates. Primary sponsors cannot appear on another driver's car in any form.
3.2.1. Primary sponsors will be recorded in the OP with the cars they belong to.
3.3. Car colors must match the sponsors on the car. Having SubWay as a primary sponsor but having a purple or red chassis is a no go.
3.4. Itashas are perfectly acceptable. However, the car must conform to the AUP and the primary sponsor must be of the subject of the car.
3.5. Asides from rule 3.2, cars can feature a near unlimited amount of associate sponsors.
3.6. Car numbers must be present on the doors and the hood of the car.
3.6.1. They must be within a box signaling which class they are in. GTA Class number boxes must be blue. GTB Class number boxes must be red.
3.6.2. The numbers themselves can be any font but must be white in color.
4.1. Each race will feature both classes racing together. Up to 15 GTA Class cars and 25 GTB Class cars may take part in the 1,000 kilometer/621.371 mile event.
4.2. If more than the allowed amount of cars in a class enter the season, each class will have a separate elimination session where they will have 30 minutes on track as a group to set the best laps they can.
4.3. Cars that suffer extensive damage or part failure in any practice session will be forced to start at the rear of the field.
4.4. Each standard race weekend will be comprised of 3 90 minute sessions, a 60 minute group qualifying session, and the 1,000 kilometer race.
4.5. An additional 90 minute practice session will be added if rule 4.2 comes into effect.
5.1. Each class will have its own points standings and championship.
5.2. Each class will use a 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1 system, with all other finishers in the class earning 0.5 points.
5.3. To be classified as finished, the car in question must complete 90% race distance in comparison to the class winner, and must complete the final lap.

You might want to read the OP. Each car needs two drivers.

Couldn't I use two drivers under my username and my teammate two drivers under his username? At least that's what I got from reading the OP.

Ah.. damn. Well, reserve me at least one GT1 Corvette. I'll get a teammate soon hopefully.
As inconvenient as it can be, I understand it. Knowing the people that would likely join, there would need to be a lot more rules before he'd allow it.

Nah, ain't no problem. I thought it was going to go more into morten's GT3 series which you can run two names under one username. But this method is actually nice, changes a bit from what we've seen so far in B-Spec series.

Actually, I've been thinking in starting my own, a bit of a fun series but probably ain't gonna work

Hmm...interesting. In my mind, I'd want to do either an IROC based series or go 1949 on you all and create a "Strictly Stock" series.

There's a NR2003 mod with 50's or 60's cars.. I could go dig it out for you.

Let's get this back on topic now.

My idea is a SuperSpeedway series finishing out with a double points event at a figure 8 because yes.
Hell yeah, do it with the MCLM mod and then people can have whatever car they want and it'll be perfect

I have downloaded cars from '00 to '07 for Original Cup Mod, so it would be something more like "choose a year and a car and let's go racing!!" to be a easy series to run and have attention.

That's a good idea too, I have like 3 series I've come up with, but have no interest in running, one being similar to that but not being exclusive to Superspeedways

Well, I'll work on it right away! I'll be back soon with everything set up!

I would like a spot in this series.

That was the idea I had was to do an IROC series like the real series with the Camaros. But I couldn't get everything organized the way I wanted to.

Oh @RACECAR I have a Tekken car with your name on it...
