At this point, I honestly feel like I'm talking to myself . After 6 seasons, I got an offer from Barcelona. It was literally the last offer on the list, in the middle of the crap teams . So I guess I'll spend the rest of my 15 seasons (or at least until 13 comes out!) building a complete beast.

I may start over with FCB after a few seasons so everyone isn't 40 years old .

Forget a general Fifa thread, this can just be the CAM Chronicles thread . I still haven't gone back to Fifa at all, so I'm at Millwall still. Feel like Barce when I play my league games though.

I know the feeling. I wish the league games were a tad harder, and the cup games a little easier so I could move up a skill level. Already bought Hulk and Ronaldo (again), and now working on Clichy 👍.

Just tried Ultimate Team for the first time, and am addicted to it. I just don't like the whole "contract" idea, once you buy/get a player, you should be able to use him indefinitely.

Now I'm getting a bit frustrated with FUT. There's no way to improve, you have to continually buy contracts, your players get tired, and you never have enough spare money to actually make your team better. I hope 13 fixes this.

Yeah, if 13 fixes the crappy parts of UT, it will be amazing. My players shouldn't die of exhaustion after 3 games and never recover, and contracts shouldn't be such a hassle.

You have to play the market to get anywhere in UT. I played long enough now to know how it works and so I can make lots of coins quite easily. I always give things away too so next year I'll be happy to give some stuff to you after I've got what I need. I'd give you something for this year's version but I gave everything away a while ago.

They will, just how much will depend on what you get. Playing the market is much easier near the beginning of the game too as lots more people put players up for way cheaper than they could sell them for.

I noticed that. I'm still catching some bargains, just not amazing ones. And I have to do all my matches offline, so not exactly a perfect situation. Just making a new team every few games out of bronze packs is the route I'll have to take I suppose.

It doesn't exactly help that my game freezes everytime I try to go to my trade pile..

I understand EA wants us to buy packs, but the single player games don't have to be blatantly rigged. I'm at the point of breaking a pretty expensive controller because I can't score a goal in Professional mode when I know very well I'd win 5-0 outside of FUT in World Class.

I guess even though I'm getting better at FUT (but still have squat ) I still have my Career mode to go back to. It has all the normal FCB starters, except Villa is replaced with Ronaldo and Pedro with Hulk. And David Silva in there somewhere.

I only just sold the likes of Xabi Alonso, Ronaldinho, Cisse, Hargreaves, Bellamy & Robben among others so I've currently got a reserve squad. But I just got Suarez so there's Cisse's gap filled VERY well!

And I'm putting a bid in for Neymar as we speak!

Lucky. I've almost got a full squad of gold players, but only one of them is at 80. The only ones that people would recognize are Yakubu and Bilyaletdinov from Everton, everyone else is from an obscure league.

Put in a bid on Ribery for 3,200, when I woke up it was at 29,000 . And I hate getting sniped even though I do it all the time haha.

Now that I figured out to dispose of bronze players instead of renew contracts, I can save a little bit of coin. Now, I have ~5,000 coins and am buying a gold player every few games, but nothing special.

Best pickup so far, Thomas Muller for 1k coins. Hopefully that's good .

I've been playing be a pro quite a lot recently, and there's 2 main things annoying me:

1- My player is only rated 66, yet for some reason every game I am playing in Chelsea's first team. He's a midfielder and in most 1 on 1 situations with other players I lose every time, and then he decides to fall over. I don't know how the game thinks I can compete with players rated around 80 when I'm 66
I still manage to get fairly good match ratings but it's still annoying.

2- The players on my team seem to ignore me when I have a goal scoring opportunity. I make a run and I call for a through ball. If the other player does it I would clearly be through on goal with just the keeper to beat. But in these situations they just don't bother passing to me, they run into a defender and get tackled then I'm completely out of position.
Does this have something to do with my players reputation? For example if my players rep is higher does that mean my team mates will pass to me more often?

What formations are "similar" to 4-4-2 in FUT that it won't affect my chemistry?
