Haven't seen a thread yet on the topic. In fact, I only see a thread for FIFA 11 at the moment, nothing for FIFA 12. This being said, I decided to make a FIFA 13 thread since things started getting announced a few days ago.

I just picked up FIFA 12 about a month ago and absolutely love it. I have never really been into Football or Football games, so I was a bit hesitant to purchase when my friends said it was a lot of fun. All I can say now is that I'm struggling to find a reason to play other games on my PS3. FIFA 12 is just a blast. I get absolutely murdered when I play online but, I hear that it takes about a year to get decent at the game. Regardless, I still love playing it and absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on a copy of FIFA 13.

You can extend contract multiplier by having managers with the 3% contract multiplier, it maxes out at 50%, remember, no duplicate managers.
Note: Bear in mind that some of these posts are old and the FUT market does change, but they should give you an idea of the principles behind good trading.

I will be getting Fifa 13.

Saw the gamescom trailer and it looks stunning!
Hopefully the career mode will be better then the previous games.

 
That is a good video. Definitely a stunning look to it. I like playing Career just because I can be somewhat competitive with my beloved Chelsea team. I hope they make Ultimate Team a little bit easier. I enjoy playing it on FIFA 12 but, find myself always getting into contract issues and money issues. It is an incredibly hard game mode to play, that is for sure.
 
Yep i'll be getting it, Always preorder the new FIFA along with new Battlefields. I've got to say, This years looks even more polished than usual. Nice to see the addition of Skill games to wich should be fun. I really hope the kill it with the Career mode this time though, 12 was an improvement but theres a whole lot more that could be done.

What is everyones 1st thing to do as soon as they play the game for the first time?

I always look through the kits of every team (no im not weird) and look at the stats of all the players from the big clubs (top 8 - 10 of each league) the very first ritual i have for every installment is looking at the stats of Real Madrid.:drool:
 
FIFA 13 ultimate edition pre-ordered. I love ultimate team and will do it again. I hope the career is much better this time though, and it doesn't feel scripted on ultimate team :lol:

This is a day 1 for me also. First thing I do is a friendly between Newcastle (my team) and my home town (Brighton).

I hear good things regarding the improved career mode, and its gonna implement internationals into career mode also now.
 
I am so pumped for this years game! Just seen some in-game footage from Gamescom and it looks so good! I will be pre ordering FIFA13 Ultimate Edition soon! I can't wait, I get so excited for games like a little boy at Christmas.

The first thing I'm doing is a career mode with the mighty Seagulls (Brighton) my local club! Then furiousley sweating ultimate team till I can't keep my eyes open.

Shouldn't you be supporting your proper local club? Eastbourne Borough? :P My dad and brother just got their season tickets through for Brighton this season, disappointed in my dad as he is a Newcastle fan :P
 
I only played one UT match, it was online and I won, then never touched it again, I am going to focus on it more in 13.

I reaalllly hope for a better career mode, I did not like 12's I don't know why, it was way better and more alive in previous games, as I tend to get bored more online, or maybe rage quit when the connection is lost, or I lose :sly:
 
I never tried Ultimate Team in '11 (my only copy) but will try it in '13 since I'm getting Ultimate Edition. I don't really know how UT works.. I'm looking forward to the international part and winning the World Cup with USA, that's my favorite kind of soccer :). Skill Games look sweet too.
 
Reporting back now that I've tried FUT, I sure hope that '13 fixes the problem where the worst team in the game on Professional in FUT is better than Barcelona on Legendary in Kick-Off mode.
 
One thing I'm hoping for is that, when searching through auctions, you can search a time span on how much time is left on the player. That would be very helpful I believe.

I have heard two things. More auction search options and no more non ranked matches.
 
I see. I don't see why they'd remove unranked matches, then you can't play with friends for fun can you?

Strange question: Does GameStop ship pre-orders, or do I have to pick it up ?
