PES has been atrocious the past few years but 2015 is so many leagues ahead of FIFA it's not even funny. Since PES now has the gameplay sussed, they also win every other section for what makes a good sports game. The graphics are incredible and the likeliness of some players is downright scary, licenses for the world's largest cup competitions are 100x more important to me that team licenses(and Celtic aren't even in PES this year, the team I support). Perhaps, my most favorite thing about PES is how it captures the drama and passion of football, the players on the pitch react as players on TV would when goals are scored or during big events in the game, you can feel the intensity in big games because the fans seemingly get louder and more vibrant the more key a match is in the season. The presentation is also incredible...the Copa Santander, Europa League and Champions League modes are breath-taking with the attention to detail.

FIFA has to play catch-up, but it won't really, because everyone is so took on by ' Ultimate Microtransaction Team' that I doubt Konami will ever be 'top' with the players again, even with a game as good and polished as PES.

Always been a PES player ever since the PS1 days when it was called ISS, the PES games during the PS2 era were just amazing for the time, that "just one more game" feeling kept me hook for the whole year.

During the PS3 era things went horribly wrong, i even switched to FIFA for one year but just don't like how it plays.

I'm so glad PES is finally back, it's amazing this year, world's apart from last years! That "just one more game" is back and i've played over 100 matches just on the new my club mode.

Unfortunately it might be too late to win over all those that have converted to FIFA over the last generation, and theres always the licenses issue that is very important to some.

I thought one of my favourite series was dying a slow death but fair play konami for proving me wrong and delivering an amazing game of football :) 👍

Good to hear PES returning to its former shape after last year's truly terrible game.

How's Master League though? I almost always exclusively play ML. It has failed to deliver last-gen and therefore never really grabbed my attention either - constantly finding myself keep returning to the older, PS2 titles.

Master league is pretty much the same as last year, although with this year's gameplay it's so much more satisfying to play especially with the young players.

And thankfully the cut scenes of previous years have gone for good!

Master league is excellent, especially with the addition of the second tier leagues for most of the major countries.

FIFA career mode is so basic and clunky that it really doesn't get under my skin like Master League would. Hoping PES gets a half price offer on the XBO in the next few days, because even with the paltry editing options compared to PES 13, I still crave the ML.

That sounds reassuring albeit ML seems to have taken a few steps backward. As long as I can buy players and evolve my team with each season, I'll be happy.

:)

I don't think its gone backwards, its still deeper than FIFA by a long way and as the first pes to hit this generation of consoles the only way is up.

If you have it on PS3; Celtic was added in Paul2478's latest option file ;)

Use his option file every year :)

Hope by the time PES2016 releases we can use option files on the PS4, i've became use to them over the years and couldn't imagine playing PES without them!
