For whatever reason I was remembering a fight I was in in my highschool days. Fists flailing, blood, etc. I think everybody ends up in some kind of physical altercation at some point, whether you like it or not.

So...

Did you get your ass whooped? Did you heroically prevail? Did you run like a little wussie?

Been in my fair share. Won the majority but the last two I lost. The first time I lost was because of a cheap shot and the second time was on a bus and I was just having a bad flippin' day. Meh. I don't care.

I've fought plenty of battles before, won a good deal, lost a couple too. The past three confrontations I've been in involved 10+ guys (Once it was a whole damn baseball team) trying to act tough, and me telling them to bring it, and them ending up being all-talk-no-walk.

(Edit: Is it just me, or is my post showing up as the first on the topic?)

Uh, been in a few. Most of them get called off though by other kids coming in and sticking their noses where they don't belong.

I'm not much of a fighter, but i remember one "fight" i had in high school. There was this jackass that kept on harassing a girl i knew. He was really mean. I remember, she was crying on a bench on lunchtime. I got so damn mad at that idiot, i punched him at least 3 times before he realised what was going on. He punched me once, i punched him again, and broke his nose. Probably wasn't worth it, now that i think of it. Then again, he stopped harassing her.

As far as I can remember, I think I've never involved in a fight @ school. But I've witnessed my friends fight though. One guy would take a chair, the other one would choke him, then suddenly a flying kick comes out, a punch here, and a kick (there), all while the teacher was still in class.

They almost got expelled from school, but because one guy cried like a sissy he managed to save his ass and his friend's ass from being out of school.

I have never been in a fight (in this life at least). When it gets physical aggressive in a confrontation I always back down, I just get scared.

Despite this fear I will go and see K1 the next time it comes to town, it's also fascinating with fights.

I havent been in any big fights, just punched people in the face when they've pissed me off.

Although I did have a few scuffles with a kid in my class, once I hit him in the face with his shoe (looooong story) and the second time he hit me with a chair, I would've decked him right then and there, but I had been in enough trouble as it was.

i got into a fight when i was in 5th grade...all i remember is that the kid was big an fat and he didnt want to fight and held my hands so i wouldnt hit him so i head butted him so hard..he let me go got knocked back like 3 feet an cried like a baby...i've never been in a fight since..

Did some Golden Glove boxing for a while. Did pretty good till I ran into the state champ in my weight class.
I got killed. Other than that I got into a bunch at clubs mostly. I gave up that life a little while back so not much since then. Looking back I'm glad I don't do that anymore.

Never been in one, nor do I intend to. There have been a lot of fights at my school lately though... almost everyday (it's weird how half the school has some weird 6th sense, and they just all run towards a fight like crazy).

I've never been in a fight at school, although I've been in 5 or 6 during hockey. I won all but one of those, the one I lost ended with my ankle and wrist being broken.

I was in a fight once, just me and another guy, we both threw a few punches but nothing to big, i ended up with a black eye, he had a bloody nose.

And oddly enough he broke his hand over my head when he punched me, so he was in a cast for a good two weeks

I rarely fight people. I hate fighting, probably because I know that I won't win. So what's the use in trying if I'm just gonna be beat up?

Usually I just take whatever they say and leave. Every once in a while I'll explode in a massive violent attack. My last one was back in middle school, when this kid was bugging me constently, and I picked up some rocks at recess and chucked them at him rapid fire style, then one of the gym teachers tried to intervien and I threw some at him too. I got a much needed OSS vacation for several days. The kid eventually got expelled from the school district.

I'm not much a fighter.
And i've never started a fight.
But every stinking day at my school the mexicans and the rednecks get into a fight, it's like a mobscene.
I usually just watch, but when my friends are getting their buts kicked, I throw myself in the ring.

I've never been in a fight, and believe it or not, the other people are the one's stepping down. I've never even stepped down from one myself. I just use the defense mechanism of the wild and act tougher then I really am.

I have avoided/talked my way out of every fight I could. Granted, a lot of my "avoidance" behaviors could be classified differently.
Once in 6th or 7th grade this huge dude (Way bigger than me at the time, I think it was his 3rd or fourth time thru that grade) came after me in a classroom, 'cause Iwas "breathing his air". Since he had reach and 40 lbs. on me, I started flinging desks into his path and made my way to the "athletic equipment cabinet". I avoided the fight by laying hold to one of Louisville's finest Sluggers.
I really didn't want to fight, he really didn't want his head ripped into deep left field. Fight averted.
As a little kid, I was pretty mean though. I blacked another child's eye over a Hot wheel (The green Eldorado, if you must know). He dumped my Eldo down a grate, then got downright belligerent when I wanted him to get it back. He swung at me and met a mean jab to the eye. I was 5.
Little did he know that my brother, who was 21 at the time, was taking upon himself to teach me to box.
I once had an older child try to take something from me. I was in second grade. He was in fourth. I didn't want to give it to him and he got a trifle insistent. So I tried to bisect his skull with my (metal) Charlie Brown lunchbox. It had my thermos, a windbreaker, and a couple of small (but thick) books inside.
Needless to say, he did not get my possessions.
I've only started one physical altercation in my 39 years. But, there was a time that I wouldn't back down from one either.

Heh, we always end up doing that when we play tackle footy during the break...It's just one big half serious "tackle each other then throw each other to the ground then everyone mob them" sort of thing.

I got into a few in elementary school, and a few in highschool. Most ended with both sides not wanting to get hurt anymore and degenerated into mutual accusations of chickening out. But the last time was the one I still get pissed off about if I think about too much.

I'd just moved into a new apartment after moving back to Chicago from San Francisco. It was a two flat and I had the top floor, the best apartment I ever had. It had a concrete pad in the back for two cars, one for each apartment. All my stuff was moved in during the day while the tenant downstairs was out. Then my girlfriend and I went to dinner. When we came back he had taken both parking spaces. I knocked on his door and asked if he'd be willing to move one of his cars and he suggested I park perpendicular behind his, and that he'd wake me in the morning when he had to leave. I wasn't keen on that so I drove around the nieghborhood looking for a spot on the street. The closest I could've gotten was several blocks away, and it was raining. So I went back and asked him again to please move one of his cars. He got beligerent with me and I, in turn, got rude back. Then, he punched me in the face, just like that. I was so shocked. It was the last thing I expected and I just stood there for a second, until it sunk in. Then I lunged at him, landing three or four good punches to his face and head. He just fell back like a pile of garbage. Then his two boxer dogs came at me. One was hanging off my thigh as I ran back to my car, girlfriend freaking out. The dog ripped my pants but only left a minor bite mark.

I called the cops on this freak and he spent the night in jail. I also found out the next day when I called the landlord that he was already in the eviction process. It was sweet to see all his crap on the street two months later.

But to this day I can't believe he just punched me in the face and I still want to pound him. If you'd seen him and me you'd understand why he was a crazy idiot to do that. He's really lucky he had those dogs.

I'm putting my guard up in high school now...so if i have to i will.
