I only raced the vitz series once...

Won every race except the last one, as it was time to do the save trick and that doesn't lend itself to winning the final race.

I should also mention that I would have loved to have known the secrets of tuning back then the way I do now.

With what I've learned about tuning, the vitz race participants wouldn't/don't stand a chance. (I mean, considering I beat them without any tuning at all back when I first got gt3 in january of 2003, yes, 2003)

Yeah, tuning helps a lot. When I first started I wouldn't even go into settings. Stabalizers? Spring rate? What? Then I got bored of it, and I left it for a year or two. Then, I started to get into cars, and I picked it up again. Still, afraid to do many things. As I learned more and more about cars I started to play with the gear box, but still, scared to do anything else. Then I joined the OLR, and I finally faced the fact: You need to learn what the hell these do. Now, I'm happy to do a few trial and error runs and get the settings down. Fun stuff!

PS. I'm surprised a couple of the people liked my S2000 settings for this weeks race!

PPS. Wow, 2003. You sure are good for getting it that late!

Well thanks, but don't be fooled.

I wasn't the first or anything, however...

I was on gt1 when I got a demo on the ""playstation underground" disc that only had a single playable track and 2 cars, the nsx and the vette.

Hooked on it since the very first day.

Beat gt1 down completly, then gt2 the same.

As for the S2000...

The setup I was on for my 1.06.1's... well thats a kent original.

No offense, but I never even looked at the setups people posted in this weeks race thread.

Maybe when the weeks race is over I will reveal the setup and watch all of my competitors times drop like flies. Then again, maybe not

Haha, no offense taken. Mine may be a tad too stiff for some. I'm trying to change my driving style. I used to slide around every corner, spewing smoke everywhere. Now, I'm trying to keep that limited, and take better lines.

Heh, that lime green is called Peridot bla bla bla? Wow...PD must've really put some thought into these colours. Sounds like some sort of a white.
