I uninstalled my old version of FF and installed this, but im unable to update my extentions, where are they kept on the pc?

%homedrive%\Documents and Settings\----username----\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

Ok their isnt anything there aopart from a folder called "928epl2m.default"

but no XPI files for the extentions, im really pi**ed off because no-script was uninstalled and now im unable to download it. Any suggestions? willing to go to drastic measures :D

No extention will be allowed to be downloaded by FF, this is what pops up

BTW I have enabled downloads so I dont know what FF is playing at!!

Its ok now, ive got rid of Firefox and im using Opera, seems to me this is a lot faster, maybe when I get around to formating the pc I will use firefox, but it seemed everything I did with it didn't work.

Well ive fixed it with help from a guy over at the mozilla forums, apparently its a common thing, with the new update they have removed the allow site to install software, this in turn killed off my ability to install stuff myself, but with a fix its easy to do im back up and running in FF, Opera was quick but not as good IMO as FF. here is the link for those of you hwo have the same problems.

1.5.0.3 is the present stable. i sense some muscle in this community that they have such good releases so tightly dated.

@sprite; that default.xxxxx folder is openable & contains a sub-folder called extensions, you could save that before you do an uninstall ( as you could bookmarks & search plugins from said folder ).
But the preferred method is to install the new release atop the old one, that way you keep all relevant userdata. Remember to update the extensions from the extension tab in options after updating firefox itself.
