Firefox Bookmarks Menu Help

Is it possible to remove that website button column thingy, or can I make all the favourites have one bookmark button, it's annoying to my eyes, seeing those different buttons.

Type about:config into the addressbar and hit Enter. Look for browser.chrome.favicons and browser.chrome.site_icons and set both to false. Restart Firefox.

It shouldn't be square... it looks like it was slapped together in 15 seconds, thats all. Looks like a very poor avatar, sized down.

Problem is, IE only supports .ico favicons, and you'd need a .png favicon to do that. IE won't even attempt to load a .png favicon.
