Yes there was but they restarted it because they did not make the webpages quick enough.
I think the old record was around ~3 million.
Mozilla's FAQ said there was not a previous record.

i downloaded this over 24hours ago! So when is this http://downloadcounter.sj.mozilla.com/ going to stop?
(I can't right click to view images)
Well its exactly that. I don't know why, but it wouldn't work on any page that I tried viewing. Not sure if its a Firefox 3 problem (cause I never had any problem with Firefox 2) or maybe I didn't set up correctly, but its been bugging me a lot lately.Yes you can right click a image --> View image(or is this a forum feature you are talking about?).

*sigh* the more reason I need reinstall firefox 2 again.....![]()
Is FF3 using up a lot of resources for anyone else? Mine is using 130mb at the moment.
I never knew you can do that. I've always had a "new tab" button right beside the "new window" one in the toolbar however, maybe that'll help you.Sometimes if too many tabs are open (like 10) you cant just double click to open a new tab, you have to go file - new tab..... this freeze up didn't happen with the last one.
Are the memory leaks really gone?
