The only relevance I can relate to why someone would make such a tuner part is that 60s Camaros were used in "2 Fast 2 Furious." I can almost remember the scene very well (no knocking on me, alright?). The ones in questions were Yenko Camaros without being overly or moderately pimped or modded. Clear lights look alright on a recent Mustang, but those on the '69 Camaro is... unique. Most American car lovers I talk with usually dislike anything remotely similar to what Japanese and [American] domestic sport compacts and imports pack. In other words, what you see in "Import Tuner," Sport Compact, Super Street, or whatever.
As I've said, I think the Toyota Altezza/Lexus IS300 kind of started the craze, since you usually hear of the Altezza being associated with the tuner part. If you ask me, I possibly wouldn't want to do it, even if I had enough money to buy two Lamborghini Murcielagos (both in red, but that's another story). If I wanted to get into the tuner hobby, my ultimate goal would be to take a Toyota Supra from the 1994-1998 (if not import one = more money), and make it a road course superweapon. But nice of you to be unique, CAMAROBOY. Any more rants/raves against CAMAROBOY's clear lights?
