Welcome to GTP!
You got a really good start to your gallery, great shots:)👍
the 6th shot is my favorite:tup:

Thanks for the comments!

I was hoping I'd get some contructive criticism from someone by now...

I've been searching & looking at everyone's gallery but I can't seem to get the cars to really stand out in my pics. I'd also like to generate a better sense of speed like I see in so many other pics. I guess I'll keep trying and post some more when I get a chance.

nice start to your gallery. are u editing these pictures with photoshop or something? they appear to be a bit washed out. try increasing white balance in game or increasing saturation when ur editing your images. your framing is great, u didnt make the mistake of centering all your shots, i like that. on some of the shots u might want to increase shutter speed to reduce the blurring a little. the drifting shot of the DB9 would look great if u increased shutter speed when u took the picture. keep it up man, ur going great 👍

I took all the shots with the EV between +4 & +7 and the DB9 had the WB shifted towards red and I think I shifted the WB blue on the Nismo. I don't have PS, just paint shop pro (free from work). I tried to tweak them but I'm still learing how to use it. I adjusted the Brightness/Contrast with the histogram thing and I tried using the median filter & guassian blur technique in pixeljunkynz tutorial. When it comes to shutter speed, I can't seem to strike a good balance. If I get the background blur to have some "speed" to it, I start losing the car or vice versa.

If you want your photos to be a bit more striking, take them with +0.4 to 0.6 EV and increase the brightness and contrast in Paint Shop Pro. Contrast is the key in reduucing the blandness of the shots. 👍 Don't underestimate Paint Shop Pro, many people use it (including me :p) and pretty much all that can be done with Photoshop can be done with it too.

Other than that, you definitely have an idea on how to make good shots. 👍 The second and the third DB9 pictures are great, with a tad more contrast they would be even better. :)

great start man! that DB9 looks sweet. I have a couple of tips for you. I rarely shoot my pics with an EV greater than +3. One of my recent updates had an EV of +5, but that is the exception. I often use EV values less than 0, sometimes less than -5. Don't use GT4 as your means of brightening up images, I alter everything in PS. I never use brightness or contrast, as they spoil all the lighting information created in game, instead I use curves, and sometimes levels. Hope that helps a little. :dopey:

If you get chance, feel free to check my gallery, and leave comments.

You don't have tobrighten your pics up all the time,, you can also use EV -3 or something too,, that can look very nice:),, :D Anyways I like your start a lot,, Stop by at my gallery anytime u want and leave a comment
