downloading..
what codec did you use to encode it? because i cant seem to play it.

Use the VLA player. It plays about everything. Video Lan Player

Not bad. Good attempt on the double apex. Don't be afraid to be somewhat more aggressive. just go after it. Don't worry about getting a clean lap. Just go for smooth drifts with a good line.

I use DVC 80, but my mom deleted the program, so when I use Windows Movie Maker, I dont have any audio :grumpy: I had no problem viewing it, 'cause my friend gave me this korean(im not korean( media player that comes with all these codecs. It was pretty nice, but on that loooooooooong hairpin, you should have shifted down back to third.

It's in mpeg2 if im not wrong.. Damn good format i think, even though some devices does have problems with it :indiff: but VLA player does the trick just as Swft said :) 👍

Thanks. Too much speed on that one i think.. I will be trying again today and try to be more aggressive 👍 oh right, that was 6th lap on those settings an they are veery different what i normally use so thats the reason for not being so aggressive..

Yep, i know... Noticed myself too when i watched it... Just wanted to see if it would go on with 4th gear :guilty: Appereantly not :ouch:

BSPlayer works with this format also

i feel that was a good first effort, SZ-T

you're on the right track, just a matter of making small adjustments and corrections here and there. Your technique seems solid enough - though the drifts were a little wobbly at times, like through turns 1+2. That is something that will only correct itself with more practice.
I think where you ran into the biggest problems on that lap was with line and rotation/angle.

You werent going anywhere near fast enough to pursue turn 7 (long left) with the kind of angle you were trying to hold. Either step the speed up by about 2 notches, or take less angle around there. To me this looked like a bigger issue than being in the improper gear.

I'm sure you know that turns 1+2 and 3 can be linked, and that you just got into a bad line, so i wont nag about this point too much.

Now, turns 4 and 5 (left followed by uphill right). I watched this a few times to see what happened to the link here. I've convinced myself that you dropped the throttle for far too long inbetween the apexes. You take a very square exit from turn 4 and lose slip at about 27.750 into the lap. If you had stayed on the throttle the full way around turn 4, you could have exitted wider and with more rotation. Then cut diagonally across the track while dropping the the gas only momentarily and make a very quick transition from slipping the tail to the right to slipping left, then get back on it into turn 5.
You were off the gas at about 28.225 and didnt hit it again until after you steered into turn 5 at 29.225. A full second. I think this is far too long in this set of turns. What you essentially did is forget about using the inertia from the previous turn and drifted turn 5 solely on power.

BTW, Last turn looked good imo. Could have been exitted a slight bit wider, but I think on the whole it was well thought out and executed. It showed a good balance between throttle and steering modulation without noticeably rattling the car around like in turn 1+2. Good drift.

Good job on your first vid 👍

Thank you, im pretty satisfied with it myself too even thoug there is mistakes.

Yeah, i know they can and that was pretty bad angle now that i look at it 👎 You can actually link from 1 to 5 :sly:

Well, its quite hard to get more speed on that one for me... I have tried it with higher speed but i cannot keep it on the track anymore.. I think it would hve been pretty good if i had changed to 3th gear. If i had, it wouldnt had regained too much grip like it did with 4th gear. But you are right, i could have made it trough with 4th gear with higher speed.

Thank you :) and thanks for the tips too 👍 I might try correcting my mistakes but first i want to go onboard of my GT-S 👍 :)
