Fix the problem of when leave the pits your tires wear out much faster. Racing Nascar at Daytona, if you start on racing softs with tire wear on very fast, you can get about 8-9 laps before you have to pit. After you pit getting the same tires, they only last 5-6 laps. You can hear the tires spinning leaving pit road and all the way around the track. Does not matter what set-up you use.

That problem definitely exists and prevents our german community (www.konsolenracer.de) from launching serious leagues/series/cups with GT6. BTW a lag occurs exactly in the moment the tyres are changed on a car that is pitting. Check for yourselves...

Could this lag and the "Tyre-Bug" (handling of cars changes when you change tyres in the pits, affecting also tyre wear) have the same source?

The problem is discussed and was confirmed by several ppl here also:

It is also included in the ug list thread here (#74):

This! I vote this! This problem can be experienced in ANY race at ALL tracks with a pit lane. The lag that occurs every time someone pits as well as the change in wear rate/car handling is a serious issue.

Another issue with pit stops is selecting options. During races that begin with a qualifier, racers using controllers (DS3, "sticks") are not given options on the screen to select tires/desired fuel amount when they enter the pit lane, while drivers using racing wheels experience no issue.

All of these problems should be at the top of PD's fix list, along with many other online bugs. PD seems to desire pleasing car manufacturers by updating interiors, bodies and car colors while the online issues are seemingly not getting any attention. I've found no way to contact PD directly to inform them of these issues (as if they don't already know (and I'm sure they are well aware)).

So here's a message to Polyphony Digital:
Please stop worrying about minor "hot fixes" and adding new cars until you solve the issues with online gameplay. We've seen no attempt at any online fixes yet and some players are getting frustrated to the point of not wanting to even play the game anymore. If these problems continue to exist, you will surely lose support from the online community.

^^ not like PD actually reads any of this anyway, but maybe we will get lucky. lol

Hi - I host meetings and recently found another Pit Stop bug which needs fixing:

If I set a compulsory pit stop and drivers do not take the stop the game will automatically give them a 50 second penalty, however if they take their pit stop on the last lap the game does not fit new tyres so their stop is about 20 seconds shorter than it should be - to get round this problem I am having to make initial results provisional subject to a 30 second Host awarded penalty for those drivers who pit stop on the last lap. I noticed this fault at Willow Springs and Deep Forest.

you mean mandatory? your post is hard to comprehend might wanna proof read yourself... put more laps so they have to pit earlier?

OP, I noticed recently it's not only online, same pit lag and tires lasting much less in S races (24 minutes and stuff)... it's a game/programmation issue.
