You're probably trying to take the turns while going too fast.
Try slowing down a bit more before turning. That usually solves it.

It's kinda tricky to tell u tips if we don't know you're driving style, but I'll pop a few tuning pointers ur way...
Toe-in in the rear increases oversteer, as does toe-out in the front...they may help turn-in ability...
Softening the front springs a bit may help if it's plowing into the turn, as will firming up the rear to increase oversteer...
You may also try to alter your brake balance to be more to the rear so the front tires will have more traction to turn...
Add some downforce may also help...
There's just some novice tuning pointers...they may or may not help, depending on the car and driving style...

EDIT: Also, if you're using the wheel, there's no force feedback in GT5 for tire slip, so be sure that you aren't over-turning the steering wheel...If you're turning and you see the front tire temp turn red, you're overturning, and this causes oversteer.

I also find that a lot of my issue with understeer is actually me driving it. I try not to be overly eager with throttle...

Reducing the front ride height and soften the front springs should help, eventually putting softer tyres in the front than in the rear if it is really huge understeer.
if you try to reduce understeer by tuning due to poor driving technique then you will get a car that is improperly balanced and more likely to spin out. The two cars listed have excellent handling with very manageable steering which would lead us to believe that you are going into corners too fast.
i know its not my driving that cauing the understeer, cuz when i drive my skyline eveything is fine... but then i drive my SLS it just understeer all the way, the car just does not corner... i even put the driving line on to make sure that it isnt my driving thats causing the understeer, even following the line the i need to corner at very low speed(drastically lower then i need to with any other car that i drive) for the car not to shoot out the corner with understeer...
so i know that theres something wrong with my SLS.

I find it curious that these type of threads pop up so much, "I'm a perfect driver whats wrong with x car". Maybe you're expecting far too much (in the way of performance) and arent in touch with reality.
The only tip I have is to be receptive to learning new/better driving techniques and never stop learning, and dont assume you're perfect as there's always room for improvement.

Hey I was having this problem myself and I fixed it pretty good just by reading what each tune did in the tuning menus and by reading up on the forum. I am driving the camaro ss and the same skyline as u and the understeer was horrid. Most people come straight out and accuse you of driving like a noob but I know what your going through. My cars too were understeering even when taking the corners REALLY slow. Its like the car just doesn't wanna bite and turn instead it just drives straight into the wall. Ok, so I basically did what 1c3man stated above. I increased the front negative camber, toe-out the rear wheels, lowered the front of the car more then the rear, softened the front suspension, hardened the rear, made the rear anti roll bars stiffer in the rear and lastly increased the braking more in the rear then the front. It turned out pretty well and I'm satisfied for the most part. Only thing I'm having trouble with now is giving it too much gas coming out of a turn. The only way I can fix this problem is getting a steering wheel because I'm terrible at being pressure sensitive with the god forsaken ps3 controller buttons. Its like when I'm coming out of the turn on the right line/path and right speed and its time to give it gas I do and it jerks the car straight b/c of the torque. So if I had the pedals I could give it gas without flooring it. I try feathering the gas but sometimes it works sometimes I hit the button to hard and jerk the car.

Without more detailed information on the set-up of your cars, I'm going to have to assume that you acquired the cars, and then proceeded to upgrade them to maximum horsepower. Then, you discovered that they don't appear to want to steer. That seems to be what's been plaguing many people on these forums.
If that is undeed the case, then you're going way too fast into the corner, or mashing the throttle exiting out of them.
Buy some softer tires. Brake sooner. Ease on the throttle when exiting corners.

It has to do with the grip the tires give you. If you are always on the brake then you leave no traction for turning. By figuring out when to let off the brake and then start turning you will be able to maximize your grip.

For a moment, I thought he was going to say that GT5 has too much understeer. That is something I'm glad they fixed from GT4. EVERY car understeered in GT4 regardless if it was an old muscle car, a race car or a Prius. In GT5, I've been getting loose a lot more often, and it's fun to drift around the corners.

I love these threads. I haven't had a single problem with any of the cars I've driven (other than something called a Lotus with slicks, haha). The cars are very predictable and turn great, if you drive them like they are supposed to.
There are so many different variables that make a difference as to how a car will turn that I can't start listing them all off without taking up an entire page, but I know for sure that it isn't the game.

I think its not the tuning or going to quick or entry quick that is creating the problem.
There is a problem on how the 4 wheels go red and white.
its constant from red to white it isnt red goes more and more which it should be.
GT5 prologue , you can ask anyone who has driven Ferrari 599 GTB in real life GT5 prologue has the better physics for that car. The ("exploding tires" AKA doesn't steer even if you slow down until you get to a straight line) just isn't real even if the car is tuned.
