Flatscreen Monitors

I finally got a flatscreen monitor. Its a Samsung Syncmaster 770 tft (same one I use at work) its brilliant! and its soooo small!

Although ive heard that flatscreens arent too good for playing games on. Mind you its better than the old Nec monitor I had, It weighed a ton and was breaking the desk it was so big. Now all I need is a new computer and im set

So has anyone else got a flat screen and if you have how good is it when you play games?

Hmmm...I don't like them for gaming...they don't have high enough resolutions and the refresh rate is a little slow...but if you're a LAN gamer then they're pretty good to have. I'm on a 18 inch CRT digital monitor (made by NEC). It's GREAT...I absolutely love it.

I have a couple of Daewoo Flat's that I run at 1024x768 that work fine for gaming. At that resolution, I can set other quality features within the game and on the graphics card to maintain 60+ FPS while still being able to experience high quality graphics. With my current card, I don't think I would want to try to go much higher than 1024x768 resolution anyways...
