I forget... The last time I had to follow someone was a while ago cause I normally set up the rooms... Brief description of how to do this would be alright

Do you mean online racing? You have to select their profile under community and there should be a green dot above the my lounge coffee mug if they are racing online. Click that and it will ask if you want to join the room they are in.

It's a yellow circle and when pushed, you can see who is playing and can "join".. I use this to run with friends also.

Thanks, I couldn't remember exactly as I don't race online too often.👍

Could we move this thread to the Online Racing section and sticky it with an edited OP?

May I ask an additional question:

As you explained by the sign above the coffee-mug you can check, if a friend is in his private lounge. Is there any way to find out, if a friend is around in an open lobby, and in which one?

I thought if the player in question was online and in a room that he hadn't set up the yellow dot icon still shows and you can still join them ?

if your friend is in his/her own lobby you can join and see whos in there via the coffee mug icon.
If he/she is not in her own lobby but any within PSN you can check that with the yellow circle above the coffee mug (and join em)

you cant tell if theyre in their lounge or in an open lobby. i think, but once you select the little yellow dot above the coffee mug (after selecting community and the user) the box will say what the room name is if any.

Thanks for the replies, as I stated in the first post, I am the one that normally sets up servers but I'm doing a photoshoot later.
