Ford Australia receiving more money from our government

Just on our local news Ford has asked for more money from the Government to stay in Australia.

This time they are receiving 52.5 million dollars, I remember for received a handout from government a few years ago to develop the 4.0L I6 engine used in Falcon and Falcon based cars.

Mitsubishi has been receiving alot of handouts over the years with more expected. Holden/Toyota hasn't received any from recent memory

Problem is I don't think Ford Australia is doing bad at all, they just want incentive to keep development in Australia and not send the jobs to somewhere cheaper.

Mitsubishi Australia is doing quite bad now though.
 
...That is the suxorz, sounds like the 120,000 jobs that are going to be cut a Ford North America and the closure of several factories over the next few years.
