Looking at buying either and tuning one out all the way. Which is the better investment after tuning? Leaning on the Viper atm.

Had both. Fully tuned. Ford gt half a min faster around nurb. Abit less power but weighs so much less than the viper so it pulls harder. Sounds alot better to. I have pretty much every premium supercar and the ford gt is the most enjoyable and fastest around tsukuba.

I despise fords, and love the attitude and concept,, execution, and composure of the acr viper, so the choice was simple.

my zr1 RM'ed maced and tuned cant touch my maxed and tuned acr.... I should have waited till like the wind was unlocked to try my viper before buying the vette, coz the vette sucked for me and the viper won it easily for me, but the vette had so much hype I figured why not... plus I plan on owning all the rm cars, currently have the zr1, crappacino, civic, sti, and old school camaro.

The ford gt is probably a lot more user friendly... that viper was a bit frustrating to push beyond its limits, but very rewarding once mastered.

I love all 3 but the Ford GT is the hotness. Blue w/ white stripes omnomnom!

Also handles better than the others imo

^ for starters, thats an srt viper vs a zr1 vette, not an acr viper. then the fact that its supercars exposed, one of the worst comparisson shows ever... and top off that you are arguing standing mile times to prove which is a better track car in a racing sim...

acr vipers nurburg time, look it up. and thats before modifying it in the game to be faster.

only drawback is the game doesnt include the real life downforce it leaves the factory with, but this can be carefully tuned around with suspension settings.

Next time try knowing which cars are actually being discussed before offering up your shirt sighted opinions.

having others pick for you is retarded...choose what you like. if it turns out bad go buy another.

I have the Vette ZR1 RM, GT 40 and the Viper ACR and I like the Vette

Well I got the Viper and have been trying some different tuning options to get it down right. So far this thing is a beast though.

The GT I was referring to from the dealer was the 186k one, not the 3.6 mil race car. I'm still thinking about getting the GT as well, I just want to make sure that the GT I was referring to tuning out was good, as I know some may have thought I meant the race car.

Anyone who had the Ford GT in GT4 knows its a beast, best and fastest American sports car bar none. I haven't purchased one yet in GT5 because it would make parts of the game too easy lol

Dude. Its a video game for one thing. I won't be shirt sided if you won't get on your high horse. You were comparing it to the RM ZR1 anyway and that wasn't on the show either. And if you watch the full clip. they do a roadway race, not just quarter mile. So next time, don't come off as a know it all.

I have the gt maxed out with a drag tune and an acr maxed out kept beating me by 1 or so car lengths because I couldn't get traction even with a 2nd gear launch any suggestions? But on a track the gt wipes the floor with the viper.
