But with me i definitly can feel the difference between the layouts I have a G25, PD could have made the weight transfer In the wheel with more force, but besides that the G25 is serious!

Theoretically speaking, you can make 50:50 weight distribution or even less with front engine car like M3, but you can't remove moment of inertia and while turning heavy engine on front creates momentum which prevent the car from fast turning.

So mid engine cars are balanced around center of mass and can jump inside turns faster than any others. But I'm not sure how you feel it in reality and can't see a big difference in Prologue.

Just like you said jumping in those turn make a big difference. Lets compare the two, Lotus 111 R and NSX-R. With me driving the NSX-R you can feel how balanced the car is even though its a MR I know at leats with me you can push it to the limits with feeling so much on the edge. With the Lotus Its a different story Im always on the edge with this car. through out the whole wheel i can feel the car on the edge. You have to be a good driver to bring the full potential out this car trust me. Like i said the G25 FF is pretty good

I agree, in Prologue I can barely pass the turn faster than cheap Mustang with Ford GT, which is quite strange.

In Forza 2 Ford GT is razor blade driving super car, that what you expect from 150.000$ sport car. Viper SRT also handles like crap in Prologue, there is no way such lousy car can make Nurburgring in 7:15, it drives more like 70-th muscle cars

Though that was my impressions with dualshock. Yesterday I've got Driving Force GT and started the game from beginning.

In Forza 2, most cars do have that razor blade handling since they tend to oversteer more often than not. Ford GT, although a sports car by all means is very much a muscle car especially nowadays when supercars are the Zondas and the Koenigsegg- these are the cars that have not only razor blade handling but also power to boot. Next to these cars, the Ford GT will definitely feel weighted and less zippy.
Just to put things in perspective- on the venerable Top Gear track, the Ford GT ended up almost 2 seconds slower than the behemoth 4000Ibs Nissan GT-R (which despite the 3.4 0-60mph, is still hefty in the corners).

Here's a comparison of the real Ford GT, driven by someone at Donnington and the version in GT5P (watch in normal quality for better framerate) driven by me at Suzuka (G25 wheel set to 10 FFB and S1 tires):

Those arent the same cars though if Im not mistaken... The movie of RL is an original or replica GT40... and the car you drive is a Ford GT... Ford GT is based on the car in the real vid... Im not sure if thats what you meant... but in your comment it states Ford GT at Donnington...
