anyone know which is best?

from:

Ford GT 05 (with stripes)
Ford GT 05 (no stripe)
Ford GT 06 from Dealership?

is there any difference anyone?

I've heard claims that the no stripe is best, but I took them as claims and nothing more. It all boils down to your preference, since not everyone drives the same way and the slower of the three may ultimately be the faster for you or anyone else as it suits different skill sets.

The '05 no stripe does handle a little better than its striped brother and certainly a lot better than th '0 and '06 cars.

yer i think the No stripe won a PP competition in the tuning contest? i am sure i read that here but not sure if its true

Still

FFS seen loads of one swith stripes NEVER one without stripes on UCD or OD pffffffffffff!!
where can i get one **crying** :-(

Marketplace. Or just wait for it to come around in UCD, I managed to get one of each color that way. Also, please edit your posts rather than posting multiple times before replies and please understand that proper grammar is appreciated on this board, as is stated in the Acceptable Use Policy.

:grumpy::scared: is thie No stripe a rare car i just can't find it been refreshing my UCD the quick way all day:indiff:

You wanna talk about "rare", I don't think the No Stripe '05 qualifies.. For 1 it's trade-able and 2 it's winnable in spec mode so 0/0/0's of it are common. The "rare" Ford GT you talk of is the Ford GT '02. I had to try 200 or more lvl 13 and b-day 2002 tickets to get one, as it is untradeable. 8)

It is a prize car for getting gold in IA license test. It is also available from a level 15 ticket and a 2005 birthday ticket.

I got both of mine (white/blue and yellow/black) from UCD. :p

I have the premium '06 Ford GT and I cannot for the life of me tune out the terminal understeer. That car just plows through corners.

Its strange why has it never come on my UCD? only the striped ones. I will keep hunting.

I have now posted on Marketplace i don't have any any rare cars people want, as i got all my cars by winning it (including driving 4 hours in the endurance race lol) but i guess its the only way. Somebody may have a a couple spares :-)

p.s i cannot delete the previous post.

Here is a Speed and Acceleration test on all 4 cars. Hope this helps.

I've tested the Ford GTs similar to the way Gordon did and the no stripe, in completely stock form is the fastest. It's also about a half second faster around Tsukuba than the 05 with stripes - stock cars on original tires. The no stripe handles better; the one with stripes has a tendency to oversteer.

Even though the specs on the two 05 cars are the same they drive differently. And sound different too.

Of course, very few people race these cars stock on SH tires.

Race the seasonals to get the 13 and 15 level tickets. They're fairly easy to win. Cycle these tickets using a USB backup and you can have as many "02" and "05 no stripe" cars as you want. I'm trying to get all the color combos of the 02 this way. I think the "no stripe" only comes in black and yellow.

You have it reversed. The '02 colors are the black and the yellow. The '05 "no stripe" comes in 6 colors.

Edit: As noted by others, the two colors for the '02 are white w/blue stripes and yellow w/black stripes.

No such thing as a rare car especially when its a prize car.

@ DDAAVVIIDD82 she is watching you :)👍

For the no stripe I did a UCD file search and came up with these days for ML #1

Day
139
150
416
488
510
532
631
691
799
997
1243
1271
1600
1659
2545

I can search through ML #2 if anyone wants it

Depends which track you are using it for really, but I'd go with the no stripe, much better handling. 👍

The No Stripe showed up in my UCD a couple of days ago, in black, looks very smart. Thanks for the tip Mark (the man with most awesome GTP avatar), I'll keep the no stripe in my favourites if it goes better than the other versions.

Don't you mean white/blue stripes and Yellow/black stripes???
