Ford Racing series

I just picked up a doozy of a bargan, Ford Racing 3, for a song. do any of you fordites play this kind of thing?

I've got two of them.. Ford Racing 3 and the Mustang game. Only because I'm a racing game freak, they were dirt cheap, and it gives me something to play when I don't feel like playing any of my real racing games.

Theres a "NobleRacing" game coming out too..same sorta thing but with Nobles not Fords.

Jedi: *chuckle* yeah, there's times I just wanna goof off with something with wheels, too. that's why I kept a copy of NFS: Hot pursuit (the original) around. wish i could get the cop cars without having to use a Shark. wouldn't mind a copy of NFS2 again, either. loved the soundtrack...and playing with the GT90 and Indigo...not to mention driving a t-rex around XD

Ashley: "noble", I assume is a low volume Supercar? where is it out of?

It's Brit. Uses a Ford engine, too... hmmm... is there a pattern there?

For my GT off-time, I do NFSU2 or NFS:MW, but only free-roam mode. Never finished NFS:MW, got bored just half way through (not enough challenge).

How is Ford Racing compared to NFS:MW or V8 Supercars?

Ashley: found Noble. relatively cheap, comporable in price to a brand new TVR. sounds like a good investment

Niky: haven't got to play any of the 128 style NFS's yet. but FR3? i'd say up with the level of a 64 style. still some coarse polygons, innefectual timing and resolution speed, incomplete minor graphics. good for screwin around with, but not up to 5th gen console level.

the FR series started on PSX/32 bit console. and if it is at the same quality level as NFS II, i wouldn't be suprised.
