I get that they didn't have anything else, but is it better than the used soft?

Edit: especially if the used (but young) soft means restarting from P1.

I can only assume that Red Bull are putting a lot of faith behind the fact that the hards are totally new tires.

I've never seen the safety car is so slow compared to this season. Absolutely no consistency. Imagine taking this long at AB 2021 xD

Charles has new softs and obviously new softs will beat any other new tire.
New hards can beat old softs, esp after a restart when everyone is pushing.

Not new for Leclerc, 2 lap old tyres from qualifying.

Unless they want to implement a Lap 1 style rule where they give leeway due to the restart
No way, that was way too egregious. I never thought I'd see myself agreeing with Nico Rosberg, but Max should be Black Flagged for that.

I feel like the safety car was gamed way too much. Out too long and then Piastri doing a brake check is deplorable.

Max should be flagged but Red Bull did absolutely nothing to help their lead driver from the 3rd stop onwards.

That wasn't lap 1 after the restart and there's no leeway deserved, it was a dirty move.

Throw the book at Verstappen. Even by his standards, that was outrageous. That would even make Senna blush.
