Strange that of the two gimmick races in the US, they chose to extend this one by such a large amount. Will these promoters even be able to sustain this for that long?

Also, I don't mind this circuit, there are worse on the calendar and it has had some entertaining moments.
 
They are always miles clear in practice these days. Just a different way of prepping as Lando said. It’ll be closer later for sprint quali. I expect new dad Max to be right with them.

That's assuming Red Bull have decided to listen to ANYONE (which is hard to believe considering even the guy that's won them driver's championships can't seem to get through to them)

Wow. I think that session alone is enough to say that Toto Wolff was right to believe in Antonelli when everyone else doubted him. Impressive lap, just a shame it's a Sprint Pole that nobody cares about rather than a proper one.
Same goes for Hamilton's first Pole and Win for Ferrari...
 
Hope Kimi can repeat that frat tomorrow as well cause the Mercs looks very planted. I thought McLaren had this in the bag but it's seems like that's not the case. Hopefully the rest of the weekend goes well and we see some good battle between McLaren, Mercedes, Max and Ferrari.
 
What does Kimi drink if he wins the Sprint? Can the other drivers shower him in champaign? It's Ameristan after all and he can't legally drink until he's 21 (but he can certainly have a paying job...)

Someone mentioned that he has a deal that Bottas will drink his champagne if he gets on the podium 😂
