I love this so much. Actually fight for grip out there. I’m sorry but we had our years of 5 gs through the corners, now make the cars difficult to drive. Feels like Indycar and F1 could certainly learn a thing or two from them

Grosjean causes a red flag by spinning off at Turn 1. There is just about time for 1 more lap.

Kimi spun on his outlap and then proceeded to try and drive into Leclerc
 
Gasly and Leclerc at risk at the moment.

Even in a sim lap I would not complete one lap in these conditions. Thumbs up for the rain masters
 
Why did the start the session with the tractor still out there?
 
I'm guessing DAS can't work for the Merc this time around.

Alfa Romeo will be wanting every track resurfaced next year.
 
ESPN just fell flat on their face.
 
Other than Alfa Romeo this is evolving into an extremely ordinary grid.
 
Looks like Reb Bull will finally break that Merc qualifying streak and the could even do with a front row lockout!

Damn, both Alfas went through to Q3 :eek: sad for Gasly and the two McLarens, though.
 
Both Red Bulls actually cooling tyres on the Q3 outlap... a luxury that the Mercedes don't seem to have.

with three minutes remaining, Perez currently leads Verstappen, Raikkonen, Stroll and Ricciardo.

Edit:
Lance Stroll is on pole position. Verstappen 2nd.
Perez ends up third. Albon sharing the second row in the second Red Bull.
Hamilton is sixth, just behind Ricciardo, while Bottas can only muster P9 behind Ocon and Raikkonen as Giovinazzi completes the top 10
