If only Raikkonen could've waited...

Ocon was parked over the other side of a crest, several metres away from the edge of the track. They needed either a VSC or Safety Car to retrieve it.

Either way Hamilton was very likely going to take the lead. Having the VSC lasting for just the right amount of time, in the right place, is nothing more than an amazing piece of good fortune I think.
He would’ve been 4 seconds behind Bottas.
“Was very likely going to take the lead” c’mon. I know people don’t have that much faith in Bottas, but Lewis ain’t a god.

Max was already looking and steering a bit to the right, there was already something wrong

And Russel out!

And now Vettel will be blocking Bottas at the restart...

What the hell happened there?!

How the hell did russel crash under safety car?

You had to go and bottle it, didn't you George?

OH Georgie boy.

Must be auditioning for one of the HAAS seats.

Harnessing his inner Grosjean.

Or Ericsson hit him.

That was....odd. Almost looks like George got a random bout of snap-oversteer on a straightaway.

George's body language suggests he did it himself

It reminds of Hulkenberg's error when he was going for the podium in Germany.

if nothing else stupid happens riccardo can get to the podium.

And Stroll screws up again.

The ghost of Ericsson still haunts even on All Saints Day.

This gonna be a helluva shootout. Gonna have 5 or less laps to end it?

Russell's car veered off like someone turned on a magnet.

They seriously need to let Vettel and Stroll un-lap themselves, unless they're scared Bottas might take Hamilton's win away...

Apparently the safety car driver is now called Benrd instead of Bernd

He was leading by over 26 seconds when the predicted pit loss was 27 seconds

There needed to be either a VSC or a full safety car anyway, so yes he was very likely going to take the lead
