Sainz getting a drive-through penalty for speeding in the pit lane twice when it looks like he's got some kind of technical fault on his pit limiter is incredibly ironic. Incoming third penalty for speeding during the drive-through?

The second one is definitely on Sainz though because knowing that issue, he should have just driven through the Pits off throttle and definitely slower

Max is gonna have a hard time finishing this. His overspeed is probably not enough to actually make the move on time.

Edit: Next lap was a lot better.

I'm convinced the FIA hate racing, who on earth decided that was the way to deal with the last few laps. Staggering, absolutely staggering.

Very good recovery drive from Oscar.

Dirty race from Max without any penalties for him as per usual.
 
Some chaos and nice racing.

Commanding win by Lando. Piastri did well to minimize damage.

Nice P2 for Charles. The VCS was some BS, but ah well. I feel bad for Lewis.

I shouldn't be shocked by Max's performance, but the Red Bull didn't look very strong all weekend.

Bearman P4! Stoked for the kid. He drove very well, and I was hoping for a podium, but solid points haul, with Ocon in P9.

The Mercs were better and worse than I thought they'd be.

Under VSC - yes. Regular SC depending on where you are on the track when it is deployed - no.

Doesn’t matter now of course.

George had a car in his arse, Stewards are 🤬 useless, Piastri's car is...something is definitely going on there, and Ollie drove a stellar race.

That VSC was clown shoes though.

Don’t think there’s anything wrong with Oscar’s car. Stella said he struggles a bit on these low grip dusty tracks (he wasn’t great at this section of the calendar last year either). The race was much better - 9th after turn 1 to 5th and some good passes. Interlagos should suit him more, Vegas could be a struggle.

Biggest shock of the day for me is that the team won a pit stop battle, especially as it wasn’t their first stop of the race.

Narnia. According to him he got squeezed out but 4 cars don't fit into 3 lanes.
 
Such a good race spoiled by a completely unnecessary vsc. That has to be the worst one I’ve seen, Sainz limped that car to a safe spot.

Meanwhile earlier in the race the marshals were on the track when Lawson was coming through that section. Of course they didn’t show that or call a vsc for it.

Winners of the race: Norris and Bearman with stunning paces.

Losers of the race: Hamilton, Sainz and especially the bad camera direction.

Although VSC was unlucky, Verstappen (no penalty) and Piastri were lucky to not lose any more points to Norris, especially as at least Piastri would have had Hamilton in front of him.
