I didn't expect a start like this.

Interesting start...seems like Lewis couldn't get the tires to warm up.

Can they stay on dry tires the whole race.

McLaren looks like they really got their cars dialed in. Everyone else besides Kimi still adjusting.

sainz is pulling away.

Wut

Well that was fun while it lasted

Without the rain, Sainz has nothing. If it spits again, the mediums will lose temps quicker than softs.

Aaand the rainclouds are blowing away...

We've already had more rain than the forecast said, and more than the last few races where "rain in 10 minutes" was declared.

Albon's first of two races to save his seat has gone well so far...

And looking at the running order as it stands it's as if the rain never happened.

So lap 1 you can just knock people off the track with no investigation it seems. Another Racing Point on the recieving end.

Also seems highway overtakes on the straight are going to be all we get as I feared.

That was absolutely a racing incident. Nobody really did anything wrong there

I think it was 50/50, there was no car there as Verstappen rejoined and they came together after that. It was a standard first-lap incident imo, and I'm no Verstappen fan at the moment.

Albon busy being six places below where he should be.

Oof Verstappens tire looks bad

Remember on lap 2 when McLaren that started behind him took the lead?

Not a good day for Racing Point
