Would've been worse with the older Aero cars.

People have forgotten that around 2019 drivers would be complaining about dirty air when they were 2.5 seconds behind.
They needed significant overspeed to get closer than that.

The FIA made rules about things that make dirty air, we saw those end plates being added to the rear wing for a few rounds before they were banned,
