And we're off again, hopefully for more than a few corners.

They've gone a lap!

clunky upshift>torque surge(?)

Is it me or is the timing gap between the drivers not updating live?

I was expecting more of Russell in these conditions.
Kimi spin but kept it on the smooth stuff.

Yeah, I saw that - I think it's updating on the sector split. That's one change for the worse from the broadcast.

Verstappen made a mistake or something? The Rainmeister is human after all!

Piastri 2 secs faster than Verstappen last time around.
Kimi is putting in some good laps, faster than quite a few of the more experienced people ahead. That kid is good.

Macs will fight each other for the win. Verstappen needs a big swing to catch back up.

Last time McLaren were that good around Albert Park was 1998. Yes, please.

I know I'm tempting fate here, but I'm amazed not to have heard Crofty wittering on about Sky Q all race....

It might just be the DRS but Piastri is clearly faster the last few laps.

Lawson lapped in a Red Bull on lap 33

Alonso out. That'll be a safety car.
