If I were Mercedes I would have opted to take the 5sec penalty at the end of the race....Lewis lost so many positions in the pits, I don't even think he's in the race at this point anymore

The penalty applies at the next pit stop and is only added to the end of the race if you do not pit again.
 
I thought Racing Point had the strategy figured out for Stroll. But the car is so bad that not even a podium they're getting today.
