Get in there Lewis!!!! He finally done it with Ferrari! Well done Lewis....the pace was surprisingly so good. The Merc still look strong so I guess the Ferrari upgrades worked. Game on for the rest of the season!

Not only is this an all British podium, Lewis has now won a race for each of the teams represented on the podium. Cool stats!

Unfortunate for Kimi and Charles!

The last podium finish with three British drivers was at the 1968 United States GP at Watkins Glen.

Stewart - Matra
Graham Hill - Lotus
Surtees - Honda (+1 lap)

Just watched the race back.

Great win for Lewis and one that felt like it was won on the road by driving excellence and (weirdly) a great strategy by Ferrari. That third stint on the Mediums was absolutely legendary.

Crazy that despite how unpopular these 2026 cars are, the races have all been incredible. I'd say bar Japan, they've all been a solid 7/10 at worst and we have seen some excellent strategy, passing, battles and storylines through this year. Let's keep it up and hope they can get flat-out qualifying sorted without ruining this. Overtake Mode seems to be what DRS wished it had been.

Hulkenberg had the most insane bit of bad luck

His DNF was caused by a bit of gravel hitting his cars kill switch
Just when I thought I've seen my fair share of unusually bad luck, along comes something else to confound me. Doesn't even sound real.

Watching Lewis increase his distance to second place was crazy, at one point he was 14 seconds ahead Russell and Kimi

@3:46 actually it was an olive pit. Plus Hulkenberg had other factors that contributed to his retirement and he took a selfie with Nico Jinxberg.
