Verstappen spins off at Turn 4, same as Carlos.
 
Err, why has Max gone off there too.
 
So now Vips, Sainz, and Verstappen have all spun at the same corner. What is going on there?
 
You can see the tyres spitting rubber off the car in front from the onboards. Haven't seen it that visually for a while.

Red Bull made a mistake swapping the drivers there. They went from Perez pressuring Russell every lap to Verstappen not being able to keep in DRS zone. RB should have pitted Verstappen once he was behind to try and force Ferrari to panic and make a wrong pitstop move.

Swapping one car with another with broken DRS. Peak RB that.
 
Yeah, Verstappen's DRS is busted. It looked like it came open for a split second and closed back up just now.

Indeed, he's doing a great job today. I'd say that depending on what transpires, 3rd place finish wouldn't be totally impossible. Highly unlikely, but not impossible.

Edit: George is also doing a hell of a job defending today.

There's no way Perez can 1 stop this, don't care what knowledgeable, qualified engineers say.

Great job from Russell as well so far. Feels inevitable but he's showing good defensive skills.

All this talk pre-race about 2-3 stops, and Perez gonna pull a 1-stop?

Feels like that has the potential to really backfire at the end.
 
Vettel finally comes into the pits. Lewis is still on the set of softs that were installed after his 1st lap incident.

Edit2: Verstappen goes hard trying to get past Russell! Russell keeps the position after a tight few corners!
