Always thought if they are caught impeding, they should be sent to behind whoever they impeded unless 3 places is worse.

3 places is nothing when it ruined a constructor rivals qualifying entirely. Can be totally gamed and tbh I'm surprised it isn't more often

Amazingly, Stroll is the 6th most experienced on the grid. Only Alonso, Hamilton, Hulkenberg, Sainz and Verstappen have more starts.
 
Piastri the only one of the top 4 with a new set of mediums. That could be very helpful with the hotter temperatures today.

Lawson and Gasly start from the pitlane after taking new power units.

No, only on TV. They do the same thing in some other sports, like baseball with ads on the backstop.
 
Very poor pitstop timing from Ferrari. That's Hamilton's race over.

The Mercedes have really good race pace, thia is going to be a great race to the finiah.

Clever strategy cant fix a slow driver.
 
There's a splattered Groundhog on the track below the camera before the T10 hairpin. Perhaps that's where the damage on Hamilton's car came from?

In your biased state you may have missed that ALL the frontrunners were slow in the first dozen laps. They were trying to manage the tyre wear.
 
Piastri’s going to have to pass Antonelli to get a McLaren on the podium. A bit of a change today from the rest of the season.
