Ferrari got greedy and wanted to keep an extra set of tires for q3, they should have just made the sacrifice. The softs can barely do a single qualy lap anyway.
And now they won’t get to use them or any more sets altogether.

Poor Chuck.

And now leclerc is in the wall! Ferrari's day just went from bad to worse.

Oh the rain, yes please. The guys at the top now would be nice to see for a race start even though we know they won't stay there at all during the race at least it will be a nice change!

LEC into the wall and half of the corner workers in the camera shot have their phones out taking a selfie, including one with her phone and arm thru the fence.

Honestly, I think Sainz might have it. Max was slower than Sainz in Sector 2 during his lap. Between the sprinkles taking away some of the grip on the track, and the red flag stopping the session, the track conditions might not be conducive for a quick lap time.

Raining again.

So, we've had the most red flags in a qualifying session, are we also on course for the longest qualifying session ever? The race shouldn't even take this long.

Hearing reports of heavier rain than what we got at the start of Q3. Call me dangerously optimistic, but I think it's done.

Oh goddamit! I'll take a Sainz P2 any day of the week, but it was soooooooo close to pole. Lando's lap was hella rough.

The start of tomorrows race is going to be fun.

I’ve always had Senna and Schumi as the slippery rain gods. Willing to add Max to the club.

Gonna be interesting to see how the McLarens get through that particular crowd.

I think the McLarens are going to struggle to move forward with Mercedes and ahead of them. With their lack of top speed on that straight, they might actually be over taken by Ferrari during the race. Max P1 is going to stay P1 unless some crazy things happens. I'm ok with safety cars but I hope there won't be as many red flags tomorrow.
I've never really been excited about Baku but this could be an interesting race.

I'm going to be rather surprised if at least two of the cars in that top 10 don't end up suffering some kind of damage before they get out of sector 1, judging by how that qualifying session went.
At first glance I was going to say "Colapinto and Stroll are at the back" but Sainz and Lawson have had a few coming's together this year... here's hoping neither of them has a rush of blood off the line.

Happy birthday weekend Ocon. Disqualified from quali for a technical infringement.
