If the race gets fully canceled, which means no one scores points, then i officially consider Lewis has the biggest golden horseshoe in F1 history.

Wonder if they will just do a few laps behind the SC to give out points.

I don't understand why this benefits Lewis and nobody else.

Weather reports for spa are often unreliable. If they get a a window, go for it to clear some surface water and hope they can complete the race safely. Not looking promising for a race though currently.

If they can't start within the next hour it will be to dark before they finish.

Huh, didn't know LecLerc switched to the Hass for this race. Cheers, Crofty.

Spa needs to invest in some of these.

Red Bull still trying to fix Checo's car

Perez can race if his car can be fixed

3 hour race time had started back at 3 local time. So only 1h 45min left.

I think it only started when the safety car drove off at 15:25, so we're only 50 mins in

It should be a bit longer? The start i.e when they left the line was delayed, was it 15:20, 15:25? So still around 2 hours on the clock...

Does look a bit more dry right now, maybe getting close to a point where we can at least do a lap behind SC?

Croft said that the 3 hours commences on the start time, so it does look like a bit over 1.5 hours left to get on.

What about having the race tomorrow, could that happen?

Race control said the clock started at 1500 so only 1 hour and 35 minutes left to complete the race. And Toto said a few minutes ago that the weather wouldn’t get much better during the next 45 minutes. I don’t think we’ll get any racing done today.

Regulation wise, I think yes, but practically it may be really hard to organize that

That would be well beyond the 3 hour window the F1 regulations allow….

such a silly rule. If there is a window you have to race in, then race. If you can’t race due to outside influences, then stop the arbitrary clock.

Seems like it could be a big logistics issue as they have another race schedule for next weekend.

While it has many issues, NASCAR at least has contingency plans to allow for rainouts. Might it benefit F1 to consider a full time traveling marshall team?

Having paid and fully educated teams of marshalls sounds like a good idea anyway, regardless of conditions

The Red Bull mechanics are beasts. 😮
