Wonder if this will influence the renewal of Bottas's contract.

Looking at BOTs on board it didn't look too silly in terms of late braking, he seemed to brake just about the same time as Lando but the front tyres locked and he slid straight into him. Clumsy, but nothing more.

He was closing up heading into a braking zone, hit the brakes late, locked up...tad ambitious. He misjudged it badly. Wonder if he panicked after a slow start.

The rain should be about done once this gets underway.
 
Yup, seems like the worst of the storms are swerving the track.
 
If VER is mostly fixed then he can definitely get 2nd.
 
Imola, Turkey, and today... Bottas has been very suspect in the wet over recent times.

Seems the theme of the start was those who were slow off the line gained and those who flew off the line are on the back of a truck.
 
Max's car is seriously damaged.....it will be interesting to see what he can do with the car in that state.

Bottas apologized when Lando was in front of (Dutch) camera.
 
Surprised nobody has banged slicks on straight away during the red flag, save doing a pit stop at the end of the formation.
