This shows that Lewis has some sort of luck amulet.

If that race didn't prove that Perez deserves Albon's a seat next year, then frankly I don't know what does.

Congratulations to Sergio Perez and Racing Point - or should that be Racing 40 Points?!

Terrible luck for GR - at least he provisionally gets 2 points, but he is under investigation for the mixed tyre thing - a rare but TOTAL balls up from Mercedes... what are the chances?

Meanwhile, taxis required for Messrs Bottas and Albon methinks.

Race winner, 4th in WDC and no drive next year.

Now... the big question is... will they have the right anthem available this time?

Frustrating race, but congrats to Perez. Well-deserved win.

Nice podium for Ocon.

Even without the puncture, Mercedes seriously borked Russell with that stacked pit. Points are small consolation.

Poor Bottas. I've bagged on him pretty hard, but that pit screwed him.

Ah! McLaren dropped to 4th in the WCC? Bring on Abu Dhabi.

Anyway, I dare say if Perez isn't in the Red Bull next year they're objectively wrong.

Additionally, it turns out motorsport without a dominant force in the field is really bloody good. I've known this since this summer, as it happens.

You cannot be blaming that puncture on Russell

No, no one is blaming him for that, but everyone saw he was pushing really hard after SC.

Plot twist: Mercedes had Perez lined up as their next driver all along

Headline number 2, go home you're drunk.

Get in there, Checo.

2 teams and drivers get their first wins this season. That's now 13 drivers on the podium too!

Perez smashes the record for most races before the first win. 190. Beating Mark Webber's 130 by a long way.

Spray that champers, now oppit boyo

MSZ
And he is masterful when it comes to tire management.

Nothing to do with a incidental puncture.
