Meh, 1 Stop. I hardly have anything to gain or lose so whatever.

@Earth Could we see a portion of a stint from a base car? so we at least have an idea of how fast the tyres degrade and whether or not it is linear because I wouldn't want to pick a 1 stop strategy to find I'm 5 seconds a lap slower for the last 10 laps for example.

Ive done extensive testing and eliminated the threat of tires falling off 5 seconds a lap even for 1 stop cars. That is not a possibility.

But there is fall off. How fast tires degrade depends on the track temperature and car setup.

Notes:

1. Harsk100, Earth, and goofytyler used default setups. A default setup is a slower but stable setup developed by me intended for use in my car but also available to others who are struggling with car setup or who have not submitted a setup.

2. This season AI aggression has been turned up dramatically. This was done to increase passing, especially the leaders when they encounter lapped traffic. The downside is there is expected to be more collisions and DNFs. With the extra DNFs as a result of a collision, there is no need to throw in the possibility of a DNF by a random mechanical failure. So mechanical failures have been turned off.

3. Peasantslayer clipped goofytyler when attempting to pass him entering turn 16. The contact launched goofytyler's car and it barrel rolled at least 2 times in the grass. Peasantslayer was able to continue but goofytyler's day was finished before it even got started. Unfortunately footage of the incident was lost as the replay did not save.

4. RACECAR again struggled mightily for grip, spinning out in almost every single slow corner. The car was black flagged and excluded from the session as it was deemed a hazard to the other competitors.

5. As a result of the incident with RACECAR, if a competitor is unable to lap consistently within 6 seconds of the fastest car, that car may be removed from the race or given the 'default' setup in order to provide safe conditions for everyone.

6. Any race setup or practice changes are due by 1:00AM New York / 6:00AM London on the day of the session. Submitting a setup or pit strategy change any later (even by a few minutes) may be too late.

I told you that putting me an Honda wasn't my final decision (I wasn't sure) and you put me in a Honda...
 
Why do my new setups never work faster than the one I made off the back of my head. :irked:

The cars are definetly faster though. I checked last season's setup and quali and lapped in 90 secs instead of 89. It all comes down to fine tuning I guess.

@Earth Has a lot to do between sessions, running an entire season of people's setups, strategy calls and liveries. Unless you make the changes clear, setups and choices are carried over. By trialling an engine and not specifying a further change, how does he know what to run? I'm confident earth will understand the issue and make the change for the remainder of the season, but just remember how much he does before the complaints!

The entire 20 minute qualifying session will be uploaded. First race only, though.
