I will not be able to watch the race, but the Qualifying, Takuma Sato gets my vote :D

Checked my guide. Fox Sports won't be covering the practice and qualifying sessions? Time to find a stream. Someone, enlighten me.

I don't think they are being televised at all as ITV only lists the race as well for UK viewers.

Fox sport coverage is 1 hour and 30 mins. iTV 4 coverage is 2 hours and 30 mins, according to the iTV website. I guess iTV will at least be showing qualifying since all 4 qualifying sessions are 40 mins when combined (50 mins with commercials?). iTV coverage sounds more favorable over Fox Sports coverage.

Not sure about the iTV schedule PDF file on the Formula E site:

I'm going off this, I'd imagine it's a little more up to date than the PDF.

I'd also say that it's a little early to declare one channel's coverage as superior as the extra hour on itv could also just be a bunch of filler segments with only a few highlights from the prior sessions (I'd imagine they will show highlights of qualifying on FS1 as well).

Whether you like this series or not, at least we all can agree- we can basically agree this is a most interesting racing series and not some overly bland series, and also that we certainly want to see how this series plays out before making any further judge it. I'm hopeful to get a chance to see as much of this series as I can, even if I have to resort to searching material on YouTube from the first race. And just so you know, I am taking this whole thing seriously. I am not looking at Formula E to be something laughable, or some kind of side show, or that nothing really could be derived or adapted from this series.

Best of luck to all drivers and teams competing in this first race of the Formula E Championship.

That's impressive, nobody could bring down Chandok

Look at him, eating his sandwich/whatever like nothing!

Now Prost and Di Grassi brought him down :)

Oh ok. I'd got the idea that it was all done consecutivly and the race was literally about to start. Panicked me a bit there.

Can't believe it, in a few short months we've gone from talking about it to seeing first test runs with it, seeing drivers and teams list and now, we're going to actually see them race.

Yup, despite all the doubts its actually happening. Lets see how she goes. history is about to be made

One of the commentators mentioned when drivers go to the pits they jump out and into another car. Never heard of that before or did I misinterpret what he said?

And we begin!

And Montagny being himself as usual
