Formula gran turismo or Ferrari F1

I have enough money for the formula gran turismo but I notices that Ferrari has F1 cars but are more expensive should save up for a Ferrari f1 or get the gran turismo?
 
You should get them both is the best answer I can give but if it has to be one or the other choose the FGT.
FGT
+ Harder to master so more fun. Practical due to the fact that you can use it in A+B spec and will find more online action with it. Comes in a variety of colours. Cheap to buy.
- Car doesnt exist in real life.
Ferrari
+ Authentic car. Relatively easy to drive. A must for F1 fans.
- Very expensive to buy. Limited to Ferrari F1 races only online. Can only be used in 1 player mode on 1 seasonal.

Bear in mind that you can win either Ferrari or FGT for completing B spec Endurance races, I spent 10 million on a F2010 then promptly won one. Now I have 2 and cant sell one either :(

I did get the FGT first as it was much cheaper, however, if i knew how good the F1 cars were back then, i would have by-passed it and kept saving for the F1. Credits are so easy now, just grind away and buy the F1.
 
Ferrari is by far better than a FGT.

But a Ferrari can only be used during Ferrari races.
You can't use a Ferrari even in FGT championship.

FGT can be used at several championships, not necessary the FGT only championships.

The reason I posted this is I didn't see any other like this I saw stuff about which Ferrari to get but not between FGT and Ferrari but thanks for the help
 
Hi, Get the FGT first, you'll need it for the "Extreme" FGT Championship and it's one of the best cars for stupid B-Spec Bob, although he wrecked my first one. Even with repeated engine rebuilds (1.5Mil.) I can only get it up to 923Hp. from 922Hp.. Rebuilt from the UCD you can get it up to 934Hp. The F1's can only race in Arcade Mode, time trials (practice) or on-line but that's fun too. If you really want to race F1 cars get the F1 2010 program by Codemasters, (e-bay about $35). You also can WIN an F1 when Bob completes all the enduro races. There, I just saved you 12.5 Mil. Cheers.

The Ferrari. They have a community of F1 racers each day so if you see a Ferrari F1 lobby, join it, join more, and pretty soon you'll see the regulars.
 
I've spent the last 4 or 5 days saving money to get the F1, thinking it was the car I needed to complete the extreme level. I have the GT Championship and no car to race. I purchased the car for 10,000,000 only to find out I cannot race it in A-Spec. You are the smart one. My Minolta Toyota is much faster.
 
Gutted for you (see above) I bought one then won one and now have 2 almost useless, very expensive cars that I cant sell. I could use that 10 million too!
 
Oh yeah, and by the way, if you choose the FGT, don't use it in online free mode lobbies. People hate that.
 
Definately not in free mode! But plenty of races to be found, just check with host or look for FGT rooms/racing leagues.
 
All i did was find a friend with the ferrari F1 car in their shared online cars and used that for the seasonal events. So that means no money spent and a lot of income and fun from them races. Simple. But i would pick the formula GT to buy. In the future i would buy the ferrari but dont make it an ultimate priority :)
 
The FGT is cheaper than the authentic Ferrari F1 car and peaky, but worth getting if you have confidence you're skillful enough to handle the car appropriately. However, if you're hitting such roofless machines with prominent performance, the Ferrari one will help you take hold of the control with newer electronic aids. Also you should beware that you can't choose photo traveling with the FGT... I think your choice would depend on not only their aspects but also what you desire to do after purchasing either of them.
 
I like the FGT but the problem is I like premium cars because of first person pov and I don't know if the Ferrari is premium or not
