Formula GT headache

Have enjoyed the game imensly u to now and have fin all got the Formula GT car last night.
I'm finding this a bit tricky to drive, so I'm guessing my technique is wrong. Does anyone care to share their technique?

Thanks, I'll give that a go. I know I need to be smoother and more accurate. Practice makes perfect I suppose.
